I’m super excited about the current building competition and I’ve already begun construction on my spooky settlement! But I have some important questions about the rules that I think need further clarifying, so that myself and other Exiles can avoid being accidentally disqualified (and inciting Yogs wrath!)
1.) There must be at least 4 crafter thralls, one in each building. Given the current bugs in the Living Settlements update, are we allowed to disable Living Settlements so that our villagers don’t wander off into the wilderness and float into the heavens while we’re filming— or do they need to be visibly walking around?
2.) The rules for building are a little confusing, how will the judges measure our building? If it can be any shape, some villages might have a longer perimeter if they’re round or oddly shaped, but still contain less blocks total than a square 20x20 building. Is there any additional clarification available to players?
3.) Is nudity allowed in the video for players with that setting available in their region?
4.) Players are not allowed to edit picture submissions, but are we allowed to edit our videos? Not in an aesthetic sense, but for example a player might want to submit their video with transitions or cuts, rather than doing one long continuous take. Are they allowed to add text to the screen? Please clarify what editing is permitted for video submissions (if any).
5.) If a player is disqualified, will they be notified? Will they be allowed to edit their submission and re-submit it after fixing the problem?
