"You died falling through world" unacceptable

Game mode: online official server #1800
**Type of issue:Major bug]
Server type: PVP
**Region: US server

[Describe the bug here]
Moving through Weavers Hollow/Scuttler’s Shortcut I keep dying where the crystal starts from the Hollow and where it ends from the Shortcut side, making it impossible to recover by body and gear. Extremely annoying since I was carrying top end gear (black blood tools, legendary weapons and armor, khari bow, etc.)

Will Funcom be offering reparations? Clearly, since the text exists and and is triggered by death, this was something that was added by Funcom and implemented improperly. Those words aren’t randomly generated, it’s a result and file accessed by the game engine, and therefore Funcom’s responsibility.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.walk through the cave from either end get to the start of the crystal or end of it, depending on which end you start from, and die untouched from full health.
2.
3.
4.

It’s a known bug that they are working on. As funcom don’t have active admins on any official server they aren’t in a position to offer reparations. Have a quick search through the forums, I read a thread about the same issue where someone had figured out a way to get your gear back safely. Avoid the area till it’s fixed bud.

By reparations, I mean a general bonus to all players on all servers, perhaps a week of double harvest or something like that.

They should at least try to make it up to the player community for their screwup.

I’m only trying to offer advice. You please yourself :man_shrugging:

I assume you’re talking about my post on the subject:

Though please correct me if I’m wrong.

Do we know for a fact they are working on/will correct this?

That’s the one :+1: I can’t find where I saw official response. @Community can we get a heads up that you guys are at least aware of this issue? Tia.

Greetings,

Thanks for tagging, we are aware and working on solving it. It’s an issue with the anti-undermesh system around that area that’s overreacting.

Keep an eye out for it on future patch notes.

Thanks for the prompt reply @Caroll

Wait, really? I swear I’m not taking a dig at you, I’m just confused. I thought they activated the undermesh protection in live relatively “recently” (i.e. less than a full year). Has it really been longer?

not that I know of , but it may have been on testlive where the anti-undermesh feature was tested before hitting live as you said " recently " (less than a full year)
