It’s that time again, Secret World Legends Community! It’s time to get Creative!!! We have some really amazingly talented people in our community, and we would like to see that talent - Halloween style! There are some really exciting and amazing things coming up in this Halloween event. Brace yourselves for some really good fun! Dust off your creative skills, and get ready to show them off!
There’s also some in-game fun to be had, so make sure you read the entire post for all the details!
Along with Samhain 2018 we will have some great new things for you to get involved in! A fantastic event has been planned with cool, fun prizes you will definitely want to get your hands on. Check out the details below!

SECRET WORLD LEGENDS PUMPKIN HUNT
When/Where: Sunday October 28th, 2018 12:00pm (EST) in Agartha by the Station Master
Be sure to tune in with The Cape Radio for some extra Halloween good listenings!
How it works:
Teams of up to 4 people will hunt and collect up to 10 pumpkins scattered through a specific zone clues POSTED HERE. Find all pumpkins faster than other teams in your zone and you’ll win! This event will be streamed on Twitch by Funcom.

Your team will be randomly assigned a zone for the pumpkin hunt.

Please meet in Agartha at 12:00pm (EST) on October 28th. Once your team is gathered, we will transfer you to your assigned zone. DO NOT MOVE AFTER YOU ARE ZONED.

This forum post will be edited to show hints for your zone at exactly 13:00(EST). You can simply click on the arrow to show hints for your zone.

YOU MAY BEGIN AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE PUMPKIN HUNTER BUFF. You cannot pick up pumpkins without this buff. I will start buffing you at 1pm EST but you may get it shortly after since I will need to zone to you.

There will be 10 hints per zone for the locations on the pumpkins. How you choose to find them is then up to you and your teamwork!

EACH TEAMMATE MUST INTERACT WITH THE PUMPKINS. Once you find a pumpkin, each member needs to interact with it to pick it up.

There are decoy pumpkins. A message will tell you if you interacted with the wrong one.

So if you have a team of 4, you will have 40 pumpkins by the end. If you have a team of two, you will have 20.

To win, the pumpkins need to be traded to your team leader. The team leader must then go back to Agartha and trade the stack of pumpkins to Spynosaur, who will be there waiting for you by the Station Master. She will then mark your team’s completion.

There will be one winner per zone (one in Blue Mountain, one in Savage Coast, and so on). The fastest team in your zone will win.

Even if a winner has been announced for your zone, keep going! We’ll post team completion places.

Once you trade in your pumpkins, you’re free to stick around and party it up at The Rooted Groove in Agartha with DJ Nexus. We’ll be movin’ and groovin’ to their station!
Rules:
- No more than 4 people to a team. You may have less than 4.
- Your team can communicate through Discord, tells, or however you wish.
- We discourage giving hints or location answers to other teams in your playfield.
- Do not not leave your zone to find other pumpkins in different zones. Pumpkins in each zone are labeled and named per zone, so it’ll be obvious in any case.
- YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
- This is just a fun event, so please be a team player and play nicely/don’t cheat.

SECRET WORLD LEGENDS PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
Head on over to your favourite grocery store, pumpkin patch or Uncle Sam’s garden. You need a Pumpkin for this - it doesn’t need to be big, as long as you make sure you have enough room for what you want to do! We want to see SWL on a pumpkin! Carve your design however you wish, just make sure that it’s SWL inspired.
Rules for the Pumpkin Carving Contest are as follows:
- Must be Secret World Legends themed or related.
- Keep it clean - no offensive words or images, please.
- Entries will be accepted from October 5th, 2018 through October 24th, 2018 at 23:59 (11:59 pm) EST
- Check that time for your local time zone here: Contest Close Time
- To enter, an email must be submitted to through email (contest@funcom.com), with subject line “Pumpkin Carving Contest"
- Make sure to include a picture of your pumpkin as an attachment as well as your in-game character name for the prize(s).
- Be creative!
- Only one entry per person per email.

Secret World Legends Halloween Poetry Contest!
I think everyone has that little poet in them - We all learned a Haiku or two when we were little, and I’m sure we’ve all had a few “Roses are Red” poems in our head, or even come up with a few of our own. Here’s your shot to show the community your poetry skills. In a Secret World Legends Halloween theme, send in your best Poem!
Rules for the Poetry contest:
- Must be Secret World Legends themed or related.
- Must involve Samhain/Halloween/Hallow’s Eve.
- Keep it clean - no offensive words or imagery, please.

COMMUNITY RUN EVENTS
Monster Mash Masquerade
There is a community-run event hosted by Nine Swords and DJ Drina of Happy Tentacle radio. They will be running a Monster Mash Masquerade on October 20th, 2018 at 13:00 EDT/18:00 GMT.
This is an awesome opportunity to show off your costumes, and maybe even win some container keys in their trivia contest!
Saint and Sinners 2018 Creative Competition
