A Clan stole everything I've built

After 6 months building and collecting, a malcious player invited me to his clan only to steal my properties. I unintentionally confirmed the invitation, clicking the ps4 X Button to select an item in the right moment he sent the invite. Few seconds latter he kicked me out the clan, said me to get off and left me with nothing. Is there anything I can do to recover my itens or punish the player. It was really frustrating.

Yes, it’s an oficial PVE server

Thanks, Zeb. But it took so long to build everything. If I had to start again, I’d rather stop playing. So sad cause I really like this game

Thanks for the tip, Ragnaguard! Too bad I heard about it too late

You’re awesome Zeb. One day we should talk about getting on the same server as well.

You’d be surprised how much fun a restart can be. You get to create or recreate what you built even better then you did before. Hope you don’t leave the exiled lands for good.

Oof, that really sucks. This is one reason why I recommend that even solo players form a clan if they play on a server with other players. If you’re already in a clan, the invite request to join someone else’s automatically fails, thus preventing this exploit from working.

It’s the only reason I recommend it, but yeah. It’s extremely unfortunate when it happens.

I know the feeling, sort of. My computer blew up, and when I got a new one I never bothered to check if Conan Exiles had some essential bits of it on the old hard drive before I wiped it, assuming that, being a Steam game, it would save in the cloud.

Then I got the “create new character” when I got back to the game on my shiny new computer. Months of work and leveling up, all gone.

But in the end I sucked it up because it was my own damn fault, created a new character and climbed back up, now stronger and more determined than ever.

I hope you’ll find the strength to not give up either.

OT: Is there a reason, you use a generic female picture as your avatar?

Really sucks, and it likely is infuriating.

When these things happen I find it helps to take a break from a game like this for a bit, especially when so much work was put into something, it isnt as easy to just let go and start from scratch like others suggest.

I recommend taking a break try some other games and when the urges to play conan start nagging you again then you will know it’s time, a fresh start can be fun and maybe you will build and do things slightly differently, but it’s not something you usaully want to jump right into after losing your stuff. Losing things is hard, even though it’s just pixels on a screen the emotions are still the same, I had to put down my little doggo a week ago, and as weird as it is coming home without her being there to greet me after a long day of work, I am still fighting the temptation to just get a new puppy to fill that hole. Humans take time to let go and when you are ready for something new you will know ;). And hey if after a long break you don’t feel like coming back then that’s perfectly fine too.

Goodluck with whatever you decide to do :+1:
