Why would there be so many threads on this and so many different people from all backgrounds of this game pvp,pve,pvec be asking the same thing? What do we have to gain in lying about our personal experiences? Simply want to play the game and understand why everyone keeps getting banned despite reading the rules and listening to the same old people saying “ go play private or follow the rules”. There is something fundamentally broken with the current report system. Why can’t we be entitled to have a thread so we as players can hope to get some answers. I can assure you the answer is not going to zendesk.
If you don’t want to post the evidence then don’t comment. Either post it or this discussion is going to continue as if it is a falsehood. This is how it is going to be.
If any of us post any evidence then this will be closed. So put your efforts somewhere else at least you can look forward to a future update but for some it’s very hard to do knowing it will end the same way

Agreed about delisting. Anytime evidence is brought forth it is shunned at best, closed down very rarely but usually always delisted.

When you enter into a debate or conversation, state you have evidence, and refuse to show it (for whatever reason). It makes things extremely suspect.
If you truly wish to see a resolution, you would not have done that. I even offered an olive branch. I’m willing to continue the original discussion so long as it is done in good faith. Withholding evidence, is not good faith. If the evidence is going to close down the thread, then it is irrelevant. Because let’s face it, if you cannot show it, what purpose does it even serve?
I could simply say I have evidence showing the contrary and likewise couldn’t show it because of the same reason. It would just cancel it out.
So the question is, is the fact you have ‘secret evidence’ more important than the discussion? If its not, then let’s remove it from the discussion.
I come in peace, been listening to the discussion and made a small observation. It sounds like PvP reports are being acted upon in record time compared to PvE. A report can go a month without an investigation and then you receive this email:
"Greetings Exile,
We currently experience a high number of contacts from our community, and regret not having been able to do an in depth investigation on the issue you reported.
We hope it has already improved on its own. However, if this still impacts your experience on official servers, please feel free to get back to us and let us know.
Thank you for your patience and understanding."
So while I’m reading everyone’s point of view and examples of what’s happening on PvP, it sounds like very few if not only 1 report results in an investigation within a couple of days. Now I can’t and won’t comment on admin action, since I don’t play PvP, I don’t know what those reports would look like. However, if PvP reports are being acted upon faster or prioritized first, then that should be clarified. I was hoping to tag in Umborls here, but I don’t expect clarification. I thought we were making progress on understanding reports that warranted action, and that seems to have slowed down.
The only opinion I will insert here is that blatantly false reports must have some consequences, and this goes for all play types.

i do not think this is off topic, i think this is the fundamental issue in “whats legal”.
At this time there is no clear process for reporting false bans and regardless, getting devwiped and banned is pretty much the end. This is both abuse of the reporting feature and a failure of the system in place.
They’re not properly investigating. They are literally taking negative action for even the smallest of bases and clans/solos.
Additionally, you don’t get refunded and if your appeal goes through and if the person(s) get banned, they just use alts. To report you again.
If you are referring to me saying “ if we post any evidence here it will be closed” then I’m sorry you’re talking a bit out of context. I will lump myself in with anyone who sees the blatant issue with the current system. Like I said any personal experiences discussed in the forums have been followed up with a closed thread so I will not go any further with your little trap

How long do you think it should be? As a server admin, I’ve been able to investigate building issues in under 20 minutes. Much less than even an hour.
You don’t even play official servers why is this even relevant to you? Again I ask what do you have to gain here other than to shoot people down that come to the forums because they care and want some answers
