Ahhhh So thats whats going on.

I log in day before… figure a joke I said or bad english got me banned or something weird… kept checking funcom twitter and everything seemed fine LOL.
Otherday, Kept getting the "you have been logged out* Everytime I tried get in…

Today kept getting firefox checking browser “DDoS Proetcion” and then would error out…

Here is the criterion for Regular if you had not yet seen it Trappist01x:

Trust Level 3 — Regular

Regulars are the backbone of your community, the most active readers and reliable contributors over a period of months, even years. Because they’re always around, they can be further trusted to help tidy up and organize the community.

To get to trust level 3, in the last 100 days…

  • Must have visited at least 50% of days
  • Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
  • Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)
  • Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)
  • Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.*
  • Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
  • Must not have been suspended or silenced

* These likes must be across a minimum number of different users (1/5 the number), across a minimum number of different days (1/4 the number). Likes cannot be from PMs.

All of the above criteria must be true to achieve trust level 3. Furthermore, unlike other trust levels, you can lose trust level 3 status . If you dip below these requirements in the last 100 days, you will be demoted back to Member. However, in order to avoid constant promotion/demotion situations, there is a 2-week grace period immediately after gaining Trust Level 3 during which you will not be demoted.

Users at trust level 3 can…

  • Recategorize and rename topics
  • Access a secure category only visible to users at trust level 3 and higher
  • Have all their links followed (we remove automatic nofollow)
  • TL3 spam flags cast on TL0 user posts immediately hide the post
  • TL3 flags cast on TL0 user posts in sufficient diversity will auto-silence the user and hide all their posts
  • Make their own posts wiki (that is, editable by any TL1+ users)
  • Daily like limit increased by 2×

Ive never actually even been to it myself, Im not even sure how. Nor do I know what it offers. Maybe I ask for additional Crom features too often. Haha.

Yes, @Toggles, DiscoBot was the out-of-the-box name. I ran a poll to rename it due to popular demand and CatBot won out. As @Shadoza said, just use the new name. I’ll poke the server hamster and see if there’s anything we can do about addressing the name mismatch in those scripts. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Ok what on earth is going on here…!? Now I have been stripped of my ‘Regular’ badge. I have been on the forum every day as per usual reading, liking and posting, with the exception of the DDoS day. Can someone from Funcom please do me a kindness and give me a direct reply…!? We have had three members of Funcom here and no one answered my questions. So @Tascha, @AndyB and @FormlessBlackVoid could I please have a reply?

I do agree with you. The atmosphere since the announcement of the thrall cap is fairly bad and it kindda thrown me away from the forums, forums that I checked everyday since I signed in cause I really enjoyed the vibe and the talks. It’ll take some time, but things will get better when the uptade goes live. I’m right now waiting for the uptade by playing some good’ol M&B Warband :wink:

As Shadoza said, there are percentage based numbers at play, as well as needing your own posts to get likes. I don’t believe we can look at the data to tell you why your title was dropped.

Thakyou for the reply FormlessBlackVoid, I am very grateful! Much obliged. I will work on regaining my ‘Regular’ status if required. However, this only answers one of the two parts of my questions. The other and more pressing part is outlined in my Original Post, and concerns this:

Regarding the ‘Devotee’ badge:

These were my other questions. I am not sure if you personally can answer these or it is someone elses domain, however I I would very much appreciate a ‘yes’, ‘no’ or ‘we are looking into it’ regarding my other questions concerning whether or not I can still earn my Devotee badge on said date.

*Please note: my conveyed tone here is not one of rudeness, but of concern and inquiry.

There should be a badge for occassional contributors, too. Like for people posting only once every month or less and name them Abandoned Follower. They could have their own hidden Undecayed forum, too. Even if this would be the most empty category on this board. :grin:

Thanks for the reply HonkyLips. Unless we no longer recieve notifications to say that we have been flagged, this should not be the case. The reason being that I have only ever recieved one flag since joining the forum (pretty clean slate eh :innocent:), and that was back during the initial Lifeblood Spear and Sword of Crom nerf debate. Furthermore, I actually went and edited that one post quite promptly. The bigger issue for me here HonkyLips is my ‘Devotee’ badge, which I had been working dilligently on for 11.5 months now.

Oh heck mate I flagged you at least twice during that phase. :wink:

As the fora grow, it becomes harder to meet the posts’ eligibility. Viewing 25% of all new topics and reading 25% of new posts in the last 100 days can be tough. I am sorry about the Devotee bit, though. That’s a considerable portion of your internet allotment over the course of 11.5 months. :calendar:

It’s possible that the DDoS didn’t interrupt the activity tracker. I say this because the forums notified me that I’d earned the 365-day Devotee badge just a few minutes ago. Don’t give up hope just yet @Croms_Faithful! :slight_smile:

After PSN+ had it free, pretty much lost my chances at few of titles. I never hand out enough likes… hate to hand them out just randomlly for title, LOL

I got 4 or 7 flags from people who didnt like my opinion and abused flag system…and 1 flag for a word…which I guess on other side of world means something else then what I means here.

*Site seem to be up and running… havnt been log off repeatedly or cloudfare erroring out. So yays.
*back to stalking forums every day. =3 **
Nevermind… I take that back, took 3 tries to post this.
Seems I can no longer close laptop, and reopen it and post and browse as I use to… I have refresh and relog everytime to post if someone else post. -_-’
