About fences and foundations, I have a couple serious complaints about the Nemedian DLC Id like addressed

Good job! Its looks better than before, but not by much. Idk if there even is another piece thatd suit it. Ive been having everything disappear from my wheels of pain every time i log back on in singleplayer since the update. I made a post about that but its gone ignored.

Agreed on the fences. Yeah she tried that and it didnt look good. Too dark and blocky.

I have never seen a stone castle in RL built on wood. The old motte and baileys were just a mound surrounded by a wooden palisade and a wooden keep.
I actually like the wooden foundations, they will look good when I build my town around my castle, but the buildings will be wooden also.
I have complete faith that the art department will fix this, they are my very reason for playing this game.

Omg could you imagine if we could build earthen structures like that? Thatd be amazing… i wish theyd add stuff like that and water block ā€œfoundationsā€ for building pools and moats and stuff, thatd be fricking awesome. Like half the stuff that is IN GAME already would make amazing placeables. Theyve done part of it like with the ruiner and wrecker feats you can find in world. But like, those darfari tents, the nordheimer houses, towers, mounds and walls, and even the stygian bulidings would all make fantasic placeables. No to mention all the dozens of palisade spikes they have in game at npc camps. I hope youre right, cuz funcom has been doing betfer about listening to the community somewhat. But theyve let us down before. And so far we dont seem to have even gotten a look on this topic by a team member.

Im not sure why it didnt add reply. But it was supposed to.

Could we also remove the double-decker roof on the gate frames? One is enough. Additionally, do all the doorways need a tiny roof?

Agree about stone foundations, would be nice to have wood and stone, plenty of other DLC have different style foundations.

I do like the wood floor look, but the sides being wood, doesn’t make sense, I agree.

I agree that visually, the spikes are far too common and ruin the flow of alot of pieces. But we do need anti-climb for pvp, your comment about having one of each, seems reasonable. Both can omit the spikes visually as far as I’m concerned

Thats a good point too, i did think the double roof thing was a bit wierd… one covers the other already so whats the bottom giving shelter to?

Welp… starting to seem like the devs dont even care to comment…

My only minor complaint with the DLC is that you can’t place a carpet, specifically a large carpet, on the floor without wood showing through. But frontier ceilings work good with this set.

As for the fences, I’m fine if they add anti-climb to it, so long as it remains the same in appearance. I was so happy to finally get awesome looking fencing without spikes!

I get what people are saying about the foundations being wood. LBPR let’s me put a wall on the outside of my foudations, so problem fixed. But I can see where it’s still an issue on officials.

All-in-all, this DLC gets an A+ from me. The minor issues are far outweighed by the beautiful building set and placeables.

They rarely respond to posts in the feedback section, and I’ve never seen them do so when it comes to what pieces we think DLC should have had. Also, I’ve never seen them go back and add a piece to an already published DLC.

The only actionable thing here is the lack of anti-climb on the fences, which should be reported in the bug section.
