We recently ran the Dregs instance. Its been ages since we last did so and we didn’t know if the tells and behavior of the Remanent had changed. We found that the Remanent would occasionally sit off centre in the acid pool while attacking. It glitched out completely several times during the encounter. These happened when it lunged out of the pool. Twice it fell beneath the floor and could not be reached. Once it “landed” at head height and we were stabbing it in the underside.
There were occasions when it was sitting off centre in the pool that it would turn to face someone and end up tilting sideways.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
Enter The Dregs instance and make your way to the Remanent.
Bait the Remanent to lunge multiple times.
You should start seeing problems with the places the Remanent lands and the way it sits in the pool.
I’d like to add to this post that I was able to kill Remnant by using bow…The Abysal Remnant stood still in the middle of acid pool, not moving,not spiting acid. There is no challenge here at all…Could you fix this please.Cheers
Had this happen other day on ps4. (single player-co-op) Fight started normal, got hit in face with acid and backed off, and then its AI turns off if you walk away from it. XD
On respawn, everything was if we stayed near it, soon as we back off to heal it’ll stop working.
It seems that you have to step onto the stairs to activate the Remnant’s behavior. If you stand on the floor before the steps, you can kill it easily with a bow and it will not fight back.
I was actually forced to jump into Acid bath 2 times to acctivate Remnant behaviour. I was standing in front of him on the edge of pit/bath and he was just standing still…cheers
