I was wondering if there will ever be an opportunity to add shield attacks, like Shield bash to stun targets or battering ram where you run at the target and slam into them with your shield and it knocks them down or adding it as part of a combo attack by using the edge of the shield. I’ve played other games where you could attack with your shield and I always loved bashing the face of my enemy with my shield. Sometimes that few seconds of stun time is all it takes to win a fight.

If you equip a weapon and a shield, one of the combo manoeuvres you make is a “shieldsmash”. It reads in the tool tip section below grade. Some weapons do cripple, bleed and alike instead.
More ways to utilise a shield would be nice though.
Thanks, I didn’t realize that there was already a shield attack within the light attack combo.
With a sword and shield you have shield attacks in the second and fourth attack of the heavy attack chain. (I love fighting this way 
)
I’m not sure but I think something similar exists in the chains of the other 1h weapons + shield.
