Then post in the correct section. This is for the ones running the game on PC.
Then again this is a PS problem. The game runs fine on PC.
Personally, I’m giving up.
Too many reinstall and check files and restart the PC and still not working.
For the first time in years, I will probably not even play CE for some time.
Once again. Can we have a game which is out of early access please?
Have you deleted your modlist?
Personally, have never used any mods ever. Still, on PC, crash on single player every single time, from old save (Isle of Sipta) or new character creation screen (exiled lands).
Not every one is having your issue. If the issue was the game we would all have the same issues. It’s how the game runs on your machine.
When I first started the game it instacrashed. First thing I did was verify files, yup 9 bad files, redownloaded them and not an issue I haven’t been having on testlive for week, since.
And I’m sorry, you must be new if you don’t anticipate the first 12 hours after a huge update not to be a shirt show.
More over if you are on an Xblox or PS, there certainly is no one in the PC section that can help.
Then provide the crash logs to Funcom so that they can further investigate.
Must be new?
I have been playing this game since the earliest of the early access.
According to Steam, I have 1641 hours of play time on CE.
I’m not asking for much. Just that funcom publish an update when it works for everyone.
This is not early access anymore officially, yet actually Conan Exiles is still an early access game from how it works, as it was working yesterday and how it is working today.
I’ve sent it after each crash.
And I’m not getting paid by Funcom, am I?
I’m not a QA. I bought every DLC. I spent my money.
But please Funcom pay me and I’ll spend my time finding bugs.
If you don’t want to help yourself no one can. I will see myself out and leave you to it.
So it is the fault of the people who pay for the product and send the files asked by the developer when there is a bug if we are frustrated…
Interesting…
I have been playing video games as long as there have been video games.
I have been online since dial up BEFORE online gaming was a thing.
4,836 hrs on record in CE since it dropped.
If you don’t anticipate this big of an update not to be a cluster thing, you are being naive.
You are not the center of the universe, the issues that you are having are almost unique to you. No developer can prep for the 1 in 10000 people issues. The issue is how YOUR PC runs it.
And hell, I don’t get paid to alpha any more, but I had no issuer playing on the test server for free.
My opinion is they should have let this cook for another month, at least 2 more weeks.
Now we agree.
They should stop publishing things before they know it works for everyone.
One or two or a thousand little bugs are okay.
The ones thst are reported here and on other social media clearly show a company that don’t wait until they k ow it works for the majority of the players.
AE, Paradox, Ubisoft, and lots of other companies, triple or not, would be smashed for such an update. They do launch buggy products, but far less than that and they get crucified for it.
Why wouldnt Tencent (because now Funcom has money, let’s be real) be forced to follow the same rules?
Because the game works for 95% of people.
I mean it “does” work ![]()
But yes, they should have obviously waited a few more weeks like a lot of people on these forums pointed that out even prior to launch ![]()
It could be better ofc, it’s definitely rushed and the issues popping up are not necessarily the ones you would expect so I’m pretty sure we’ll see a hotfix in the next 24-48 hours
Still, you can see the staff working hard on solving the issues and I’m also pretty sure it wasn’t their decision (the devs and the people working on it), but rather the order came from “above” to release it now and quite possibly against the will of the devs
Bottom line is this… complaining about it at this moment where a lot of them probably don’t even know where they left their head
is absolutely futile and counter-productive. I mean just look at the state of the forums
Update: Earlier I reinstalled the client and got things working. It worked on Official Servers, and very lightly modded servers, Pippi only. I was testing various servers I am on and all those with no mods or just Pippi worked fine. Once I went on a more heavily, but still only running just a few (less then 5 mods) I started having client crashes again.
Solution: Based on previous info on this thread I renamed the modlist.txt file forcing it to regenerate. This fixed the issue and I was once again able to get on the Official and the Pippi only server.
Good afternoon, fellow developers, I have this problem on all official servers, exiles have very poor synchronization of animals and NPCs when attacked, or at least just in a normal state. They teleport, . And when I try to attack, I don’t have time to beat them, they teleport and it’s very difficult to play At first I thought that it was only me and only I had a problem, but I went to the island of siptah and everything is very normal there, everything is smooth and everything okay, I asked the players who play on the same server, they also confirmed that they have very bad synchronization in exiles, please ask if it is possible to fix this somehow, I repeat this only for exile and there is no such thing on the island of sipta
Disable Steam Big Picture Mode and launch the game from the desktop icon. Once the launcher loads, select continue.
I find it distasteful for people to tell others stop complaining on a bug section of the forum. That is the purpose of the section…to report bugs. And depending on how bad, it can be frustrat8ng and they will vent. And also unhelpful debate posts only muddy the thread for the community mod that needs to communicate with the posters who are having issues.
Of course I did! I have been playing games since Pong hit the bars in the early 1970’s and I know how the script kiddies react.
