After I took the yellow lotus potion, I can no longer evolve sorcery.
Yellow lotus potions have been broken for a long time. It has most likely wiped your knowledge of recipes. Was really hoping today’s patch had fixed that. Sorry to hear this happened to you. @BRMx_Murdok
it’s ridiculous, an 8gb update and it doesn’t fix it! Since the age of sorcery launched, I haven’t been able to enjoy any of this content that I was super excited to play. Honestly, it’s making me want to quit the game.

Yes instead of don’t eat yellow snow it should be don’t drink yellow lotus potions. You need to use potions of bestal memory to reset attributes natural learning for knowledge points learned from jebbal sag. I surely expected this to be fixed. @Community what is up with this? @BRMx_Murdok

I loved your idea! lol! Assigns the new score, right on the first day, I took the potion to remake, since then I haven’t been able to enjoy the new content!

Unfortunately you are going to have to relearn your recipes. Several people have mentioned to remove or add a warning about yellow lotus potions. Can not believe it is broken for such along time

There should be an official post on known issues so folk only need to look in one place, CE does have a fair few issues, in an ideal world you shouldn’t need to check but this is Funcom we’re talking about.

Agreed Forum members have suggested that something before the load screen perhaps.
Just keep in mind that yellow lotus is a drug. Bad things happen when you take drugs. Don’t be a lotus addict, stay away from that stuff.

Oh look, a huge update and this bug still isnt fixed.
At this point i honestly dont know what to do. I dont want to start a new character on a new server, but i might have to in order to resolve this before a fix… which may never happen.
Im playing on a PvE server and have no clanmates because i did the whole PvP thing for years (and crushed my enemies). I discovered that PvP was cool and all, but i really just enjoyed the building and creative aspects of the game. PvP is the direct opposition of my desire, and i really dont want some scrub duping bombs and blowing my ideas up. Thus, i decided to devote the little time i have a day to a PvE server where i can sleep easy knowing my crap will be there when i return. Clanmates have all but been unnecessary, as im perfectly fine with farming and building on my own. My point is, i dont have the option to reset my character and maintain owning my things. A soft solution of resetting isnt really a good option for me.
Now heres the problem. Since the Sorcery update came out, i learned like 3 spells and said "Huh, this is all very interesting. I’ll look at this closer when im done building my city (Yes, city). I used a Yellow Lotus potion and immediately discovered the glitch and have been reporting it.
Now that my city is built after about a month and a half of nonstop building (hoping they’d patch this small problem) I wake up this morning to an 8Gig patch.
Awesome! Oh wait, Funcom sucks.

Is it such a problem to fix this bug? I used the yellow potion…and learning more sorcery was not longer possible. Two updates later…and I still can not learn any more spells. Hey! What’s wrong with you Funcom?
I doubt this particular bug will ever be fixed, far to much work to trace all the feats this affects, time better spent on making Bazzar items that are overpriced, generally broken (like the current undead rhino) and do not match the items description (nearly all of the last selection that were on there).

If it can not be fixed just remove from game it can’t help anyone who is a high enough level to make it
All negative. I remember using it years ago and might not have realized loosing recipes or perhaps was not broken then.

I’ve been playing for three or four years, previous to the 3.0 update I think losing recipes was often reported now that it also effects the sorcery they need to fix it or as you said, remove it, midnight does a better job anyway once you can get the recipes.

Have you tried to turn it off and on again?
Not really, a new player will have to also work out how to get raw ash, yellow lotus was always useful for a new player to test there character builds when first starting out.

Yes…spending time in bazar items and battle pass is more interesting for Funcom. I like this game very much…playing for 4 years…I spent many Euros in bazar items and the battle pass. If a game is worth it …no problem for me. But…I will not longer buy anything until the problem is solved.
Better question is why even have an option to reset feats…can just use fragments of power and tablets to get more points and learn everything…no point in even resetting feats. Also think they need to fix server transfer. Started my character on siptah where its gonna take forever to learn beastial memory…can’t even learn blue torch recipe from dregs on siptah to my knowledge…or craft glowing essences. At least if we could transfer we could learn the recipes.
