Hello, I have a problem. I’m trying to install the game through Steam and play it, but I keep running into issues. The launcher doesn’t work, the updates don’t work, and the game won’t start. Do you have any tips on how to fix this?
Turn antivirus and firewall off and try download. Maybe they block some files.
Also, when the launcher throws an error, just click on continue.
1st problem Conanpatcher.exe = 0xc00007b
2nd - Disabling the antivirus & firewall did not help
3rd - Reinstalling DirectX didn’t help
Maybe it’s a Steam issue? Have yo tried downloading from the official AoC?
This didn’t help either; still the same problem with launching.
I don’t know what to say, it could be anything causing this issue, from your computer to some of your other programs or some win update, who knows. I would uninstall AoC and delete everything that has to do with it and try a clean install, if you haven’t already tried it ofc. If that doesn’t work the next step for me would be a win clean install.
Did you try the good old full directx package that older games still rely on ?
