Was it the best update? No. But it was an improvement and if we criticize the improvement because it is not perfect, we remove any incentive for further improvement.

The incentive here is the 10x the money they could make with the bazaar if the game was in a good state. This is a business not a therapy session.

No one is excusing the bugs.
What I am saying is that we asked for communication and we got some.
Screaming that the communication we got was wrong, wrong WRONG! will not entice them to provide additional communication.
This is basic social interaction, not therapy.
That this is not obvious is rather sad.

This level of communication is far from satisfactory—it’s the bare minimum. We hear from them only once every three months, and even then, their messages are vague, offering little to no explanation about the game’s direction. We’re left in the dark about critical issues like why PvP has been abandoned or why game stability continues to deteriorate with each patch.
In their livestreams or Q&A sessions, they consistently dodge the tough questions. They only address the easy ones, ignoring pressing concerns about balance, bugs, exploits, hackers, and the overall declining state of the game. Their patch notes are often incomplete, missing significant changes that affect gameplay. They also remain silent on the ongoing report meta in PvP servers.

Would you care to explain the relevance of @Oduda’s or for that matter any other forum members sex/gender to a discussion pertaining to a 1 week delay on a Testlive release on a game forum?

Once more, to recap:
- Funcom’s communication has been insufferably poor for a long time
- Folks have pleaded for better communication
- A minor improvement in communication happens
And the response falls into two main camps;
