They need to update to UL5 so they can actually keep progressing the game. If they don’t, they are never truly going to be able to add new stuff and the money everyone is spending to keep the game updating is just going to get wasted with small updates. That are kind of pointless. With updated engine they could expand the map 6x it’s current size.
It won’t happen, according to the devs. Their version of UE4 is so heavily modified that they might as well do a new game to make it in UE5. Don’t count on it.
Better then splitting the player base even more with a new map.
