Ummā¦ Iām sad now, it is currently a bad game.
- NPCs are now running backwards and attacking while turned back.
- I play most of the time single player, for a long time, still cannot do the latest purge al-Merayah, enemies keep spawning and it is annoying and I donāt want to proceed like in the tuorials, I wanna play like a normal player would
- normal purge is a no go now also because of the demolishers
I am sorry, but this chapter accomplished what? What is new and playable by playing the normal way?

To be honest, I wish I opened the game earlier just to see the amount theyād have banned me for I wouldnāt really care about the ban although conan exiles is my fav game and the only one Iām playing rn, Iād just laugh about it and take it as an opportunity to detoxify from videogames hahaha
I just wanted to say that I also absolutely hate the new combat system.

Confirmed. Iāve ran several level 1 Purges in Single Player Test Live and had about a 50/50 chance for a barkeeper.
Agreed. It doesnāt āfeelā right. And changing the roational camera settings didnāt make it better.

How about just change it back? It WAS GREAT the way it was. Now it feels like a 5 year old made it for their tablet.

Hey guys I know it must be stressful as heck right now I hope everyone in the team is hanging in there!
I just wanted to put my 2 cents in on behalf of my community server on xbox alot of people are not enjoying the new combat changes in PVE or PVP It would be hugely appreciated if you would review these camera changes and find a more appetising change for the players just a request, please just take these thoughts on board
and fix the camel mounts
but other than that overall the update is amazing have a relaxing weekend everyone!

These new combat changes are not good, i have no idea who would think these are a good idea, just change them back to how it was in chapter 2

Weāve seen some discussion about a change in Chapter 3 where, essentially, you need to press a movement input while attacking to rotate in the direction of your cursor. One of the hottest features of Conan Exiles combat system was the ability to free target or lock target (with Q), and have a free floating camera the whole time. It lets you keep an eye on the battle around you. The weapon combos no longer seem to execute fully when trying to move and attack, and the stranglehold on player direction orientation can easily get you killed. Especially now that bosses seem to auto track your position. In a game where death means dropping your loot where you dieā¦

i will, im stopping all spending on Conan from now onā¦
I have 4,000 hours in Conan Exiles, been playing since the 1st day it came on steam. i own all of the DLC and a good amount of the Bazaar items.
I donāt know what this āBugā was that needed to be addressed to change the combat , but it couldnāt have been as bad as what you did to the combat. Changing combat style that we love and have been using since the game was birthed is a massive No No
Telling us to turn off the Rotatable camera is even more stupid being that is another feature of the game that we will lose.
If this āBugā Was in AoW chapter 2 and before we probably didnāt notice it and if we did then there must have been a better way to fix it or it, couldnāt have been worse than changing the Combat.
Seen many Streamers and Youtubers that are not happy with it, iām not happy with it and many other players are not happy with it.
Also in the future it is probably best to Not drop an update right before you all plan to go on vacation for the holidays. Could have dragged out Chapter 2 for 1 more month as far as i could have cared. at least this way when the update did come out there wouldnāt be a vacation going on and no one there to fix the mess

Can you check the event spawn rate? Tonight, every time I went to sepemeru, there was that surge event. I did it 5 times in less than 4 hours. One was back to back as I killed the 3 skull, it popped up in the other section of town immediately
Curious.
No events so far in my game. But maybe they increased the spawn rate?
I have done 3 events till today. Everything works fine. PS5
Please revert the completely unnecessary and unwanted changes to combat and camera. Nobody wants this. It was not a problem. Currently it feels awful.

Guys, I understand that there are holidays and I understand that youāll be adressing borken stuff later, I get itā¦ am I pissed off about it? Yes, a tiny bit, but I get it.
Not having a camel is something I can go without for a while and building a base different way to prevent it getting obliterated I can do too butā¦ seriously the COMBAT CHANGE?
Horrible, absolutely horrible, please bring back the old combat system, the new one is completely messy, unfun, frustrating and it makes me not want to continue the game even though Iāve been enjoying it for hundreds of hours now and I supported the development via DLCs, Battle Pass and Bazaarā¦ but Iām afraid that with the new combat change I cannot anymore since it makes the game so frustrating, that I donāt want to play it anymoreā¦
