I noticed a turn of my skill as well this AM.

its not possible to place a picked treasure in the ground, got a lemurian statue in purge and could not place it on the ground

Of course, this is not an official hotfix for Chapter 3, but if you donāt want to wait until mid-January for the official hotfix, you can at least get a small hotfix for 2 major problems here:
- Camel calves cannot be raised in stables, so they cannot be used as mounts
- Demolishers, the big battering ram enemies in the purges, cause more damage than intended and can destroy building parts much faster than expected

I will not be adding any other āfixesā to this mod, so donāt even ask me to undo the combat changes. It fixes the two problems listed above, nothing more and nothing less.
When Funcom releases its own hotfix in mid-January, this mod will be removed from the workshop!
I have come to terms with the mess.
Funcom may fix it, they may not. I may get my account unbanned at one point, I may not.
Funcom lost a paying customer. I wonāt ever spend any money anymore on either Conan Exiles or ANY game from Funcom. I deleted all FC games I still had on my Steam wishlist.
This wonāt drive you into bankruptcy, I know. Just wanted to let the company know that this level of incompetence has consequences.

Yeahā¦Iām starting to agree. Iām a console players so the whole wasd wasnāt a huge deal and in fact the changes made my controls more in sync with the pointing and attackingā¦within a field of view.
It takes some time but itās definitely skill based. I went ahead and increased my right stock sensitivity because you need to be quick in transitioning between enemies. Also it adds more value to strength builds again as the precision for agility builds is a bit harder to do
I donāt really know about console since I play on PC and rarely use a controller, so Iāve tried with keyboard and I agree with you, it just needs a bit more skillā¦ Conan Exiles is already super easy, why remove a cool feature that gives us a challenge? I think people that are complaining are just too lazy to keep pressing wasd in combat, they want to keep static and just move the camera to attack
Also I love how smooth it is rn

In the case of the fortress and supplies, I donāt understand why players want to attack fellow players. It makes the game harder.
If it is too easy, we get bored and that is troublesome.
Chapter 3 :
- everyone banned - then unbanned
- Bad combat
- Camels already glitched
- Purge demolishers oneshoot kill with damage
- Fortress siege is ā¦ well ok either i dont understand and did not found any valuables but is total shietā¦ spend like 40 barrels of explosives, get tru all fortres that somehow has MIXUP foundations with 2 or 3 different vanilla type foundations ā¦and at end get like 1000 x 7 gold coinsā¦ ( Could be some rare stuff atleast like starmetal in chests, or in those empty food barels or so feast and drinksā¦ actual treasures that is from all around, new recipes or thralls to knock outā¦ )
That 7000 gold coin is equivalent to 700 gold ore mined. Which takes longer to do?
i suggested to add a crafting area (such as any player base), and add a chance to crafter purge thralls, the ones that used to spawn in old purges, make challenges , make sure you place en in a place that will force you to do a lot of fighting to get to. add random cages, with purge fighters /archers/dancers.something unique that makes people want to explore the whole thing. add weapons and armor that can only be foound there)
i even asked to not push the fortress, it lags, and it has no replay value as it is right now. but hey here we are.
i give it a 2 or 3 weeks and then very very few people will bother,.
i do not see that fortress to be appealing for pvp audience. (but i am not a pvper so i cant tell)
that is why you have rocknose farms XD . and you dont have to kill anything its just passively turning stone into gold, gold you can convert to bars and then coins.
rewarding gold? that will get OLD very quicklyā¦
right now i just climb, break a wall , fight boss, kill him and gone (encounter done in less than 6 minutes)

Purges arenāt broken due to demolishers.
Itās going to come down to base design. How many lvl 20 thralls you have, burning fire siege cauldrons and archers.
The goal is to not allow the demolishers to reach your coffer.
Solve that and itās not a problem.
I always found it weird that you just had to click, and you got an attack and a 180 degree turn. For just one click.
