Allow upgrading/transmogging damaged legendary weapons + armor with kits

Sobek armor drops damaged. You can never upgrade it or use it for transmog.

Please allow.

The alternative to your problem is to use the dismantling bench. At lesst you csn get some materials back.

Yes yes sure dismantle a Mordlun because it has 1 damage.

What a waste…

To be honest Sobek armor is just Reptilian armor dyed white and red.
Still support the suggestion tho. It’s a quite dumb restriction to have.

It seems to me you just want to argue. If one set of armor can’t be used then why keep it in? The materials csn be used for something else

You seem to be the one who wants to argue. Because I invalidated your useless comment above you seem to be in need to prove something.

You fail to see what my post is about. Maybe read the title again. A little hint: it’s not about the Sobek armor itself.

The sobek armor was simply an exempli gratia.

My what a superior human being you are
My comments are useless and yours are WHAT? THIS conversation is over. I have better things to do than to argue with a child

.

The main sobek boss drops undamaged pieces along with worn damaged pieces so it is possible to acquire a full set undamaged and then mod it. What other examples of unique/legendary items dropping damaged with no other option have you found?

The reason why you can’t mod damaged items is because the logic behind some of the mods used in a certain combo would restore the item to original durability when they are not supposed to be repairable.

Any.
If I kill a player who used a legendary without modding it.

Those dropped weapons/items can be acquired elsewhere at full durability. If players could apply mods to damaged weapons then legendary weapons could have infinite durability. Funcom hasnt fixed the logic on these mods because you can’t apply mods to damaged items which prevent the exploit.

I knew it. Unable to fix it, so add restrictions. Just like explosive jars being able to be pushed and placed through ceilings, so they simply removed the ability to move them on the up-down axis instead of doing a raycast to see if something is in between.

Does it always drop damaged? I haven’t tested because I’ve been playing on Siptah this Age, but now that the Jailers drop Silent Legion armor, it’s often damaged, but sometimes not.

So it may be a good old RNG-based chance to get an undamaged armor piece. Isn’t that why we all love Conan Exiles?

Miss understood you’re post was half asleep as usual apologize for my statements. Please forgive. @SirDaveWolf

Wouldn’t it be better to make it drop with full durability instead?

It’s fine.

They need to fix the repair to full via kits exploit that @forkyeah mentioned.

Then we should always be able to apply kits/mods to weapons/armor regardless of their damaged status.

They could make it so that illusions do not require full health but still require the base item to be full health, this way looted armor and weapons could be useful for something other than dismantling which btw doesn’t include all armor and weapons, perfected items gotten from loot cannot be dismantled

Yeah. It’s kinda counterintuitive that when I find an especially well-made sword, I choose not to pick it up, because it’s less useful than a mediocre sword.

On a positive note, repair kits used on found items that you want to illusion allow them to count as full durability even though you have reduced their max durability. So there is a use for those grandmaster repair kits.
