I like adding oil to my picks I have a legendary pick and was wondering could I use it then repair with a legendary repair kit and add the oil back onto the pick? Because oil doesn’t go onto a broken pick I think.
I always try to get The Nemedian
Repair all legendary weapons and tools just put it on, then put on the wrong armor for the area you are in, IE Cold protect armor in really hot places like near a fire, or Heat protect armor in the far north.
Just equip the tool / weapon and as you take temperature damage the tool / weapon gets repaired.
Just watch your health so your character doesn’t die.
If the tool is fully broken to the point that you can’t equip it anymore, nothing can be used to repair it. Legendary kits will repair 100% but the item must have some durability left in order for the durability kit to work.

true, but you can get The Nemedian much easier and at a lower level.
Because even though you can’t open the boss Chest at a low level,
the helmet drops from the spider boss and can be looted.
