Problem: tamed animals fall through foundations

We got a greater panther and placed it inside. The next day it disappeared and we destroyed the foundations it was on and found it but couldn’t move it or anything, wouldn’t let us pick it up, it won’t die either. We can no longer place foundations around it anymore. Any suggestions to get rid of it??
