Any word on the timeline for next hotfix?

I know there’s lots still to fix so it’s going to be coming at some point. Just curious

I’m tired of falling through foundations and stairs lol.

The novelty has warn off :joy:

Thursdays seem to be when they prefer to unload hotfixes.

Not sure if we have one coming this coming Thursday or next.

Do we really want another hot mess rushed out so soon? I meant hot fix?

Hmm… Do we really want our broken game fixed? I’m going to have to say ‘yes.’

(Do we want the game messed up even more? Obviously, not. But there are some rather serious issues that need immediate attention.)

Yes we want it fixed, my point was to not rush out another “fix” which ends up being more of a mess than a fix. I would rather they take their time to get their ■■■■ right for once and actually fix all this crap they have broken since they put out chapter 4 before it was clearly ready.

If only that would happen. I share your dream.

10 hotfixes wouldn’t mend this game…

That’s not how updates work. The hotfix we got was worked on weeks before it released. They’re not going thursday to thursday and releasing what they worked on in that time.

The content being developed today we won’t see for a few months. If they were rushing updates, you would have seen future hotfixes a few weeks ago. Now some things get tweaked in the interim period as needed. So yeah in that context they do work on updates up until they submit them for verification. But the meat of them have already been completed by the time they are announced.

They are rushing these ages / chapters. Yes obviously they are working behind the scenes on a non-stop basis and not waiting until the last minute to figure out what the are going to do. But Tencent has put a hard release deadline on them which they MUST follow for each new chapter and when things are clearly not working and yet are released as is anyway, even when these faults are pointed out in the testlive phase, then yes, these updates are being rushed out. Furthermore, when the supposed fixes are causing more things to break than they are actually fixing, some on major levels, then clearly there is no proper testing being done on these fixes and thus one can easily conclude that they as well are being rushed out as well. How else can you explain their willingness to put out updates and fixes in such abysmally poor condition?
