I probably should log a bug but curious if anyone else is having high ping on servers that you’ve played on?
Seems like all the high pop official servers are too high now for some reason.
High pop, and Funcom provided is your issue. They should consider lowering the player caps to 20. That would sort things out. Won’t fix things 100%, but it will definitely solve the high ping thing for most people.
on official everything above 20 player increase the ping, they did some magic with constructions because even with the high ping we dont lag like before, before the performance patch at 300 ping we could not even walk with a heavy fps drop. Now the server i play is facing 500 spikes followed for 2-4 server fps but no fps drop on client. But the thralls and mobs get completly dumb, or freeze. I highly recomend to play with debughud enabled to see the server health before adventuring
Yeah the odd thing is that they are servers that I have played on for years (and have had max populations before). Wondering if the new features are just causing more ping.
Wish they could just remove the ping limit entry i couldn’t even play at all due having ping issues
