Ok, show me that video where you get Steel Thewed from strength. Let’s take this to private message, shall we?
Listen it was late, I was tired and wrote strenght instead of grit. I already said so. An honest mistake.
I came here to share my opinion and you went bat shit crazy on me, unprovoked. Get a life, ffs.
You can pry my Warhammer from my cold (or smouldering, depends on the situation) dead fingers! Off with your head! =P
I didn’t understand, what’s all this?
Sorry, I guess I mangled what was supossed to be a dumb joke.
To be clear, I was implying I can’t hold a torch while wielding a Warhammer.
Who needs torch, when you have magical firefly?
Yep, but that won’t warm you up =/
Nah - I think you’ll be pretty happy with it - it’s a bit more like the old days when stamina mattered. I think most of the complaints are from people that never had to learn to manage their stamina so carefully. (Although, I believe some of the ‘Corrupted’ stat users may also have some legit issues). A fair few of the people I’ve seen who complained about the return of the exhausted state early on subsequently came back having pretty quickly got used to it.
Mostly they are left over from when temperatures used to be much more extreme and actually affected survival. We used to have to change armor for different regions of the map because otherwise you would die. Nowadays they really aren’t anywhere near as necessary, because the temperature system has been made more ‘gentle’. So really the main reason there are different temperature armors in the game is just because they didn’t fully remove them when they made the temperature system less of an issue…
Oh, I see, thanks that’s something rather important to know, it’s “game changing” in the sense I should not have had to worry about legendaries I sink a lot of hours farming… le sigh.
Yes, but you can use stygian alchemy, or mulled brew, or the extremely spicy food Buccaneers bay sells, (sorry too many names in this game ).
One question my friend @Boulderkin.
Do you know who’s the most vicious warrior in this game?
Ahhh, I would venture to say Stamina? Or are you referring to an actual foe?
Oops sorry, you did say “warrior”, I have trouble with rockslides, solo. Oh and Thag is pretty vicious too.
Gravity. Kills us more than any npc.
(On a friendly tone)
I have left more tombs inflicted by Hyena at early game as a whole than the added falls I can recount.
Out with it, lol, who is the most wicked warrior? The suspense is killing me.
yeah, just one of the ways legendaries have become a little less valuable over the years (still, at least they’re back from the ‘no value at all’ situation they wound up in at the start of Age of War…). Personally, I’m still holding out hope that the return of the ‘exhaustion state’ means there’s at least a possibility we might also get back some of the other long gone ‘survival’ elements of the game, like meaningful temperature managment. (Not necessarily a lot of hope, but some ).
Yeah, I’d say they’re definitely up there. I used to think the Arena Champion, but the reality is she’s nowhere near as bad to fight so long as you don’t try to do it while a thrall is splitting the aggro (I find that’s when her movements become harder to predict - I’d rather just fight her on my own these days). I’ll be intersted to see what Stelagel says (I’m guessing Rockslide is a good bet).
She is extremely predictable. Don’t get hit and she’s easy. However, thralls stay back. They aren’t needed and will only cramp your space.
But in this case, I can bet @stelagel is talking about gravity. It’s a killer in certain spots, specially in Siptah in one of the Harpy vaults (the easy one).
That and some shortcuts in the volcano. But that vault is the main culprit, IMO.
Yeah, Rockslide is the worst npc. I used to hunt them on horseback. Go in, attack, get out, regain stanina, rinse and repeat. It trivialized them. Then funcom ruined horses. Now they are good tanks again, but I haven’t tried that for a long time.
Thag has a little trick. Go for it as fast as you can and mostly ignore the first wave of Skeletons. Focus on it, kill it fast and all dies. If he summons the 2nd wave, things get much hairier. It must die before that happens. A katana works wonders because if you start feeling overwhelmed, you easily bail out and reposition. With the stamina rework, the katana might be a really solid choice now.
Sorry for the delay, it wasn’t intended, apologies.
The naked bomber my friend.
And devs made sure that he can survive naked literally everywhere.
So yes you are correct, all these that we think we achieve, is literally nothing in front of the man who has to loose nothing .
Too many good players went to exhibit their fighting skills, their rich knowledge of the game and whatever else you understand that needs pain to be obtained, and lost it from a naked bomber who didn’t even carry any weapon .
That’s the game we play .
Wtf is the naked bomber, @stelagel ?
Apologies, I am single player, is that a pvp thing or does my ignorance grow by the minute?
