I also would like to report that i am experiencing the same issues as described here by Siomir1969. Since i cant include links in the post i broke up the URL.below.

Issue was intermittent but now its happening every time trying to connect to a server. Issue started when i purchased the YEAR2 DLC. Restarting Steam and PC and turning off all DLC entirely used to work but now. Reinstalled and wiped all traces of Conansandbox from registry and issue still occurs. I can log into my own steam and use the new DLC on another PC and it connects no problem. As stated in the thread above i think it is something with the mod checker and/or latest DLC. No mods have been updated or changed and it used to connect just trying 2 or 3 times. But now lately it will not attempt to connect no matter what. I wanted to post to make it known that this seems like a rare but debilitating issue. Unable to find any other sources or help online. 2 other friends are able to connect without issue. It just seems to be on my PC. I am the only one out of our friend group with the YEAR2 DLC and i am affected. another friend has YEAR1 but he is able to connect to our private server on any PC.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.Log into Conan Exiles, get to main menu, DLC window pops up
2. Close DLC window, Connect to Server
3. Mod Checker checks for version mismatch between client and server, once confirmed all versions are matched, hit connect.
4. Game starts, upon exiting the game, DLC window pops up again, no “Attemping to join”.
