me and my friend try to play coop but is stucks at attempting to join game but nothing happens please someone help !!!

I have managed to get coop working a few times but from what I can tell it seems hit and miss as to whether it works or not, I believe there is another way of making a server that you can both join maybe someone will point you in the right direction on here.
I had difficulty once with this. Can’t say for certain if it’s your issue, but check the settings. Make sure that there’s no password on the server. You can have password on admin mode, but if you put it on server, it acts really weird. I took it off and saved it as a blank field and didn’t have any issues after that. My friend was able to jump right in just fine.
I have never played co-op mode but have set up a couple servers. As I understand it, in co-op mode the host is essentially running a server. Does the host need to set up port forwarding for the standard Conan game ports for the “co-op server”?
