We’ve been hard at work at the tinkerer’s bench, and we’re ready with the fruits of our toils! The August Update includes a slew of bugfixes, optimizations, and quality-of-life improvements for Conan Exiles, as well as some new content and goodies to delve into:
Better pathing for Living Settlements NPCs, improved performance during Purges, a “Coup de Grace” truncheon fix, and multiple level streaming and loading optimizations and fixes–among tons of other improvements.
At last, there’s a Search tab on the Construction Hammer!
Introducing the Dark Dregs! Find light in the darkness in a fresh twist on a classic dungeon experience, available for a limited time from now until September 19th. New challenges and rewards await those who brave the depths!
Dark Dregs replaces the original Dregs while it is active, and is accessible through the same entrance.
After the 19th, it will join Bounty Hunting and The Sacred Hunt as rotating events and will return for set intervals in the future.
The Black Lotus Bazaar has new delights for the fashionable and discerning Exile! Look forward to new bundles like Khitan New Year and the Vanir Cabin!
As we’ve continued our work on Conan Exiles this year and focusing on the overall health of the game, we’ve seen this direction has resonated with many of you. We previously talked about making Conan Exiles better, and not just bigger; we’ll continue to focus on improving performance, fixing long-standing bugs, and adding to the overall quality of life that matters while playing.
You forgot to include “Added search function to construction hammer” in the patch notes, something that I would consider is a pretty notable addition in this update.
hey @AndyB its looks like their is some few things their is missing on the patch notes (seargh on the building hammer. i cannot see anything around settlement or is my eyes missing something) and the dark dregs looks alot of fun and challenging and thx for the update
Although most of the bugs listed are complete news to me, I welcome and applaud the patch. Bug-hunting is probably not the most fun work, so an extra bucket of thanks for delving into this.
Looking into the purge is a welcome thing. At least in my experience, all pathing issues could be worked around player-side, but some improvements should make the gameplay much smoother.
Will visit the Dark Dregs in the next days - excited to see it!
