i own a Dedicated server, and no one can log in after the last conan patch. They all get “Authentication Failed”. We do not have Battleeye turned on and have made no changes to the server. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
The last Conan patch was on the 14th of December… you mean to say nobody has been able to log into your server since then?..
Also the “Authentication Failed” message would come BEFORE they actually join any server, it would show when they go to the Play online section of the main menu. So is that really the error they’re getting word for word?
I’m just asking because I have this sneaky suspicion that one of your mods simply updated (which you thought was a game update) and your players are actually getting a mod mismatch error cuz either theirs or the servers version isn’t updated. Just speculating here ofc as the alternative doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Ok that’s odd because we received a small patch this morning on the server that everyone else had on their client side. I’m not talking major update here, I’m talking a small patch like a hot fix.
On the back end of my server, it clearly states if the update is a mod and which mod or if it’s the conan client itself. This was a conan client update, not a mod update. I’ve fixed the problem, the patch didn’t install correctly. I had to jump back to a previous save and reapply but thank you for your reply.
Like I said… the last published update to the game was on the 14th of December.
There was no update to the game this morning, not even a very tiny miniscule one 
They did tell us back in december that the next update will come mid-January thou… so there’s probably still like a week to go till we get one.
Maybe check your modlist to see if any of the mods that you’re running updated today, even if your server says it wasn’t a mod.
