Locking on to any enemy causes the camera to look downwards preventing visual capabilities. Easily ambushed by others if you lock on. Downwards view prevents properly seeing the enemies health or anything behind the target
I am providing a picture of lock on and with out the difference is substantially different also this becomes much worse when fighting a huge boss such as the world boss Spider in the desert/jungle/island or any larger enemy such as a frost giant.

This simply needs to be fixed to be level with the size of enemy and not a downwards view, that prevents visual capabilities.

Or zoom the camera out on larger targets but I agree the current angle of locked targets is often frustrating

Agreed to the zoom out concept to deal with a bigger enemy.

Also while the camera angles is more forgiving when locked onto the gorilla the uneven footing is the only reason the HP bar was available.
That would be good. Camera angle should therefore also consider walls.

It would also be nice if the bow camera was improved to allow quick arrow changes when aiming.
