Hello exiled.
I’m starting a new adventure since long time I’ve last played.
I saw many things changed in the last 1 year and half.
The question is, should I start from siptah, exiled lands, or both grant me the new content?

There both going to have new content. Next server restart they are changing some events around due to crashes.I would recommend Exiles @liquidand

Well I feel it’s a better place to learn the new events and such especially the purge that seems to require a proper location to work you should find plenty about that on the Forum have not done one myself yet.

Welcome back 
. It performs a bit more correct on line than Siptah. Especially on line you endure less crashing. Unfortunately we still do not have a clear optimization for ps5 yet so Prepare for a bit crashing no matter what map you choose 
.
Now since you’re away a couple years that means that you missed the sorcery update that brought a ton of beautiful changes on exile lands map, like the Kurak dungeon and many revamps on the rest dungeons. Imagine that you need a gravedigger even on exile lands too, we have flotsams and some Siptah gear.
The crafted gear is now way less than the legendary, so no matter the map and recipes, legendary gear is higher and better in every aspect. Too many legendary weapons have “Siptah” buffs now and passed in the agility build.
Yet, it’s what map you love to play more in the end. Both maps are really good now with many surprises and secrets for all of us, the past update brought everything upside down, the whole loot system has changed.
So pick the landscape you wish and play. Welcome back again
