Balancing and PVP changes coming with the release of The Isle of Siptah - Feedback thread

I don’t usually comment on things but created an account because I feel the PVP Server changes would be a detriment to the game and its community. For PVP Servers there should be NO PVP Restrictions or Offline Raid Protection.

To strike a balance you have to equate the time it takes for a group of people to make the firepower to get into a offline base vs the same for the base build and their defenses.

Now onto how I would solve the problem leaning towards the base builder and hoping the community could provide ideas to this. (Long Term)

  1. The quantity and rarity of items dropped needed to create explosives be nerfed.
  • To give more time to the base builder.
  1. The items required to make explosives are in high demand on other recipes.
  • This will force more open world PVP and ties in with 1. Above.
  1. Out of Range Weapons like Catapults damage be nerfed.
  • If a sweaty clan wants to spend like 10 hours getting through my honey comb using this, Well Played to them.
  1. New Base defense mechanics.
  • There is no real way as a solo player to stop some one walking up to your base and planting an explosive. Maybe have a Wizzard \ Witch \ Necromancer Thrall cast spells on attackers with High Damage \ Debuffs. Help with existing Archer thralls. Make Thralls around your base have buffed damage.
  1. Building Hit Points Increased
  • Create a Community Event, FunCom create a honeycombed base and the community has to raid it. If you feel sad you lost all your hard earned items and they got in like a hot knife through butter in no time at all… time to increase building hit points.

As a person playing on a PVP Server I will be annoyed if I get offline raided when its fair play. I would then check the logs to see who raided me and the try get them back. (If Alpha go farm a GOD to drop on them). I will be angry and ultimately quit playing the game if it took them a couple hours farming to undo all my hard work.
