Banned From Server?

I have played on an official server for months, put hundreds of hours into it.

I went to log in today and got a message saying I was banned from the server. I do not undermesh/hack or do anything similar. I work hard to contribute to the server community, help new players and recommend this game to others to build a server base (definitely won’t be recommending anymore). As far as I know, my bases don’t block any spawn locations (some I inherited from someone else, but no one has said anything to me and if I was blocking a spawn I would delete the build).

This is incredibly unfair to me. Is there a way to appeal bans or at least find out what the ban was for? This absolutely unfair to players and I will not be encouraging others to touch this game or anything else produced by Funcom.

Could it be that you were part of a clan on another server that did something against the rules? When Funcom bans, they usually ban from all official servers.

If you want to appeal a ban , you will first have to have read these rules and make yourself aware of them. Once you have done that, get in touch with us in the way described above and provide the following details:

• Platform
• Name of the Server
• If on PC, a link to your Steam profile.
• Clan or clan names you used to play in.

Once provided those details please wait until we get back to you. When appealing a ban, you might be required to provide any explanations or information we might deem necessary in order to consider the appeal of the ban.

Duration of a ban

In many situations, we will proceed with a temporary ban as a way to warn and deter against repeating infractions.

In cases of undermeshing, we will proceed with 7 or 14 day bans depending on the extent of the abuse.

In cases of server walling or locking access to large chunks of content in one or several servers, the duration of the ban will be of 1 month (4 weeks).

In cases of other forms of abuse and griefing, the bans will range from 3 day to 14 day bans depending on the extent and gravity of the situation to be judged at our discretion.

In cases of exploiting and abusing of in-game mechanics, the bans will range from a duration of 1 week to 1 month depending on the extent and gravity of the abuse.

Hacking and situations deemed as extreme will be met with a permanent ban.

Any repeated infractions will result in exponential durations of any bans previously applied. Any more infractions beyond that will result in permanent, non-appealable bans.

You can do so by going to your profile, selecting Message, and in the recipient field either type in @Community , @Ignasi or @Hugo . Do not tag any other players or members of our community in your reports.
