I would like to ask you a question if you were to visit Holland.
Would you then learn Dutch for your visit or would we have to speak to you in English?
Because if we had to speak English it would be the same situation as here now.
And from my point of view I would consider this discriminatory if I forced you to speak Dutch even though you cannot.
I see your point, but I do n’t fully agree, I don’t think its worth discussing my opinion.
Cause this example feels not the same to me. No hard feelings

Most of us don’t live in Holland!
I’ve learned german for 9 years, but since I never had to use it only in schools, it kinda… faded away.
English is the commonly usd and most “accepted” language in such places. And I don’t really trust in google translator, because most of the time I miss the small details of a wall of text which could leave me completely misunderstanding whole conversations.

It is an international forum. I saw a lot of posts in spanish, frensh and other. No one said anything about. This post is not different. The discussion about the language seems pointless.
I exactly know. I just said because it would be easier to help to the others if needed.
There was nothing serious or offensive in my post guys.
You can always use google translate but there is no specific request for help here, people are just talking about the state of the game, bugs, private servers and expressing their frustration. It is a general discussion at this point. I don’t really mind if the discussion is in another language because not everyone is fluent in English but they still want to be heard. I know that I would rather speak English than German because my German sucks but if I really need help and I can’t get it in English, then I will try seeking it with my broken German. Basically, you can’t help people who don’t want to be helped. 
The OP also wrote this in the beginning:

Which means: “Hello Funcom, I am upset and no, I am not writing in English, because I am not in the mood for it […] (because he is mad)”
And I find it a little unrespectfull to except people to only write in english.
We all grow up in different countries and cultures with our native language. And while a lot of especially young people nowadays learn english in school or kindergarden, there are still people that didn´t. I didn´t and I am under 30. I had to teach myself at home because I had not the money to pay for a privat school. My school only teached a little russian and french and most classes didn´t even took place because we simply had not enough teachers at our school and thats it.
I don´t know how often I sit here and google words while writing stuff down. It takes a lot of my free time and still I do it gladly because it opens up the world to me and everytime I am learning something new. But I accept that other people might not be able or willing to do the same. I try to help when I can in german or english. And if I don´t know the language I try to use google translator to understand what the person needs help with. And even if half of the translated text might not make any sense, I might find the part that does.

Why you discus about languages? Nobody cares. In any Game, the Guys and Girls talk the most time in their native Language. And when i say “Please in English” or whatever… they offend me… Sorry but i took now my right to wrote in my language…
Even in most Forums. And nobody has an obligation to read my post… sorry…
@SirDaveWolf Hmm vielleicht war ich zu leichtgläubig. Es ist eher traurig, das man sowas echt noch mitmacht. Und ja das Fundament erinnert mich an sehr sandigem Untergrund. Dann Beton drüber und der nächste Regen macht Spass… Schade das man die LEute von Funcom nicht in die Pflicht nehmen kann… Ich schiel immer noch auf meinen Aktienplan :-p
