Whta else funcom have to do, they lose patrons regulary with each and every bugged chapter realease and quality level of support.

however, since they are asking you to agree to a privacy agreement so they can target advertisements to you based on the data you provide, i think it is all but a sure thing that this is going to get more intrusive.
maybe it will only be that the battlepass will get ‘tailored’ to what some algorithm decides is your play preferences, but i have a sinking feeling that we are going down a really bad path here.
i usually try to keep a positive attitude about all the changes bugs etc etc. but this update has really left a sour taste in my mouth all the way around.
i have spent the last 4 months working on modding a new custom map for CE and i hover on the edge of just quitting. why pour my heart and time into making modded content for a game that is becoming unplayable? for a game that perhaps noone will be playing in 6 months if this stuff continues?

This will 100% be used in the future to not only advertise future Funcom releases like Dune, but to advertise other Tencent published games as well.
I watched a movie a couple days ago the last thing in the credits Tencent didn’t realize they backed movie’s also.
Tencen is a large multimedia group.
They are present as actors in anime, manga, and video games.
Wasn’t thrilled with advertising on the loading screens. That garbage isn’t going to make me want to visit the Bazaar more, it’ll just have the opposite effect. The more you try to get me to do X, the less I’ll want to do it.
