i cant believe the price point of the new decorations on the bazaar.
but flamboyant feast which was available at 1794
is now 1932 CC, clear proof funcom is going up with prices… i cant understand the logic on their pricing.

The next age truly is the age of greed.
This is just insane, they are completely out of touch.
I like to support Funcom and also like to shop at the bazaar. But this time I don’t feel like it. My udders are a little sore.
So converted to real world currency, it is $41.65 in my country. Oh my god they are delusional. Exorbitant, disgraceful, price gouging, take your pick. For the sake of a comparison, I literally brought Outlast Trinity for less than that recently. It consists of and it is a collection of the first 2 games and the DLC for part 1, across two discs.
Vote with your wallets and resist instant gratification. Do NOT buy this.
Why… how… who… what the f…?
This isn’t enough.
You need to actually stop looking at the Bazaar (as well as avoid buying crom coin). Everytime you look at the bazaar the metrics show that you viewed something, but didn’t find something you wanted. All that tells their marketing is they need to try to sell you something else, not lower prices.
If you stop buying crom coin (especially during crom coin sales and specials) as well as avoid the shop, it shows there is a major failure in the system from the ground up.
Don’t feed the algorithm the wrong information.
If needed, even consider remapping the key for the bazaar so you don’t accidently open it.
i have not bought crom coins since december last year ( i paid my way out of jail with the cromgate fiasco) , funcom reinbursed the coins i paid, and i plan not to buy anything, still got like 1100 CC balance.
unless something radical changes, with how they do things, (and i start seen real support for this game in terms of community engagement, bug fixing and a better quality (Tested) product, they aint going to see a dime from me.
its not a problem of money, its a problem of principes, they are charging more, we should expect more, and they should provide a much better product.
upgrading all official servers to a more modern hardware would be a nice start, followed by a good strong bug fixing season, then followed by ,much more polished content.
if you look into a previous file you can see the price difference from those time to what we see now.
i would really like to know, WHY the price increase… @Community (i know i am wasting my time summoning them, as they will look at it, and ignore , but hey it takes a second or two )
Price bump could be due to Funcom ditching the Battlepass. Or greed. Needless to say, I won’t be purchasing a damned thing from the Bazaar at those idiotic prices.
It’s ok @Eradicati0n and his whales aka Coffee Cult will keep the Bazaar afloat.
It’s strange, people generally seem to all voice the opinion that they would spend more if they’d get more for it. I know i have voiced that opinion.
Currently several of the prices are far over my microtransaction threshold, and miles over my impulsive spending threshold.
I see people making the comparison between games and current bazaar prices and whatnot, which is already startling if you consider that some of these item bundles that contain a half dozen items can afford you many older AAA game and such.
But honestly, for me it’s starting to go into the area of a nice evening out, the price of some clothing articles, or a week’s worth of groceries.
…
…
.
For half a dozen items.
Startling, i do have my eye on 2 or 3 older bazaar items depending on the pricing but at this point i just can’t reasonably support this game financially. It’s not the only game i play, and i won’t sink money into it on a similar scale i would have back in the day on say a MMO subscription for example that had oodles of content. Because it’ll barely afford anything and is not as engaging or as expansive.
People like to build things, go do what content this game offers in style, or engage in PvP with their new toys and outfit.
Lower the threshold for people to actually do these things, the fact some prices are increasing even is ludicrous. The Feast bundle was already outrageous when it first came out and now it’s just getting worse.
For items that, mind you, serve no function and take up space. Something people can potentially get suspended for.
Unfortunately I purchased 50 dollars worth of CC when Asir building came out and have most of them so they have my cash. Perhaps I will hold on till they come to their senses LOL
Same sitting on nearly 20 USD worth of cc.
In this case, do not hesitate to share your spreadsheets to have a backup and help other players in their choice.
No need to remind you of the virtual currency dilemma
So when I see some talent here, I will be delighted with such an initiative, having resumed the game I unfortunately was not able to follow the developments, otherwise I would have already done so
Especially since it doesn’t require a lot of work with the current rotation…and we are in 2024…2 clicks are enough to make a nice graph
Ah, this is so funny.
It’s a pity, this set looks pretty.
But the pricing.
Ayesh, this is hilarious.
How hilarious?
If people hadn’t started buying the battle pass and things from the bazaar when when they added them to the game none of this would be happening. It would have fizzled out and it would have been removed a long time ago. Every one of you that spent any money at all on a battle pass or in the bazaar caused this to happen.
It may be too late but we can still vote with our wallets, stop giving them money if you don’t like what they are doing and they WILL stop. They will have no choice.
It’s better than nothing, but you’re right - it’s not enough. Start making daily posts complaining about it, don’t look at the bazaar, don’t buy ANYTHING from Funcom - no Crom Coins, no DLC, no more games - nothing. Don’t buy their new game. Stop heaping praise on them when they do something good because you forgot for a second that they keep doing stuff like this.
Yes better to just have the game close up shop . What you fail to understand is they HAD to change something because the revenue wasn’t there.
Wrong. This game can’t “close up shop.” It can be played on private servers, over LAN, on rented servers, and solo single player. Just because Funcom hosts a few “official” servers the game won’t evaporate when they shut those down.
As for more development? It’s not needed because everything they do lately just makes the game worse. If they stopped 2 or 3 years ago it wouldn’t have really mattered, thousands of us would have kept on playing. In fact thousands of people have STOPPED playing because of things like this.
