Noticing a Bearer nerf in Ch 4 Test. Kathibria currently can hit 13k health but in Ch 4 that appears to be cut in half. Is there a reason that Bearers got their health cut so dramatically? Seems extreme.
Devs might be betting on the efficacy of the new command “Flee”. Instead of fighting, bearers gtfo of there fast. They’ll have none of that fighting nonsense!
I was wondering if FC was doing this to force players to take them out of combat situations, actually. If that is the case, it is forcing a playstyle in a sandbox game. But, that would not surprise me.
Interesting change but if they offset it with a better multiplier, then it wouldn’t seem that bad.

I didn’t see an increase in multipier to go along with the change. Dono still has his whopping .84 modifier. lol

I was watching a stream and a level 20 pelor bearer only had 1000 hp,is this a mistake? As someone who only uses bearers why are they nerfing them into uselessness.
Looks like my bearer’s gonna be out of the job if I can no longer rely on thier health pool to keep my stuff safe on long journeys. Looks like retirement will com early for them.
By the way how many carry slots on a camel? I hear they’re pretty beefy.
I think this is probably actually the result of bearers having their races updated. Prior to this update I think every bearer was technically Zamorian. In either case, it’s on our radar. I don’t think it will be addressed in a day 1 patch, but I’ll be having a designer work on it.
I don’t recall numbers offhand but there was a @Wak4863 video recently about camels. The carry capacity is different if it’s a camel pet vs camel mount.

siptah bearer comes with less health, maybe they are putting all t4 bearers to have the same HP?
Please revert that change. Thralls have been nerfed more than enough already. Bearers are not a danger to PvP balance. They’re almost helpless in combat. Their health is pure quality of life.
Looked into the numbers pre and post patch this morning and the difference is actually coming from two sources rather than just one. The first is that we fixed the missing cultures like I mentioned previously, but the second was that the profession was missed in the initial rebalance pass which means their health wasn’t reduced appropriately when we intended to reduce follower health across the board. They’re now where they are expected to be.
I know this can be upsetting because something can be taken away, but the balance is important. I do apologize for this oversight in the I initial balance pass.
The split in profession balance is intentional to give each category an identity - health is just one of the factors that play into their differentiation.With as much health as they had, the line between the actual best class for a fighter was blurred.
I guess Flee will be their base stance. No more bearers to use as tanks during combat.
They Will become useless , you guys are always nerfing Thralls why? If no one are calling they op and no one ARE using Thralls in PvP…
Totally agree that balance is important so with the significant cut in the HP, can we get a bump of their multiplier?
Well, if NERF is inevitable, at least reduce the exp requirement for leveling up thralls.
Coz nobody will like the idea of devoting hours into leveling a piece of junk who gets easily killed in any real combat.
This shows the ineptitude of how they chart out the game. @Xevyr has an increidable thrall sheet. How Not One Dev can pull that same info and run passes woth freakin formulas is beyond me.
Also, the disconnect. Bearers were never pvp machines, but used as archers in well placed base setup could be at least a very annoying nuisance to offline raiders. Now they are just extra slots whem farming at best. Which is not really needed because of the years ago stacking changes for raw items farmed. They now join sorcerers as useless npcs taking up db resources, that are KoS for thier rng resource bag.
