🏆 Best Conan Exiles Mods 2026 – Ultimate Guide & Top 15 Ranked

LOL, imagine someone in 2026 thinking “You support the LGBT” is an insult or some kind of condemnation.

It’s equivalent to shaking your fist and saying, “You’re a decent member of human society.”

The only things that are bright for a fa99ot are the colors on the rainbow flag.

Nice to see a Conan Exiles fan page! A welcome sight.

About the list: The mods you listed are pretty great; i use most of them and couldn’t/wouldn’t even play the game without them.

But are they the “best”? I mean: How would one compare e. g. Savages Wilds with Xevyr’s Purge mod and Hosav’s UI mod? They don’t compete with each other, I think. And call me a mod-aholic, but I want all three of them.

One could compare mods by category, e. g. maps / UI / admin tools / additional content, but even that is a bit difficult. Is the Legend of Shem map better than Savage Wilds? Are map overhauls like Grim Map even in the same category as completely new maps? They try pretty different things imho.

So, as a suggestion: Making a list of “great” or “useful” mods instead of the “best” mods avoids judging different mods.

And now, to contribute something, the mods I currently use:

  • Better Thralls

    Building Shortcut Bar

Armor and Weapons Stats in Bench

    Hosav’s Custom UI Mod

    ModControlPanel

    Improved Quality of Life

    Barbarian Barber

    LBPR - Additional Features

    Less Building Placement Restrictions

    Pythagoras

    Savage Steel

    Warrior Mutator

    Stacksize Plus

    Unlock Plus

    Fashionist

    Follower Remote

    The Damage Meter

    Shadows of Skelos

    GolemRepair Hammer

    Extended Thrall Stats

Player Ignores Follower Collision (← a true gem)

    Sane Consumable Weights

    Altars

    Stacking Bleed

    Reliable Meteor Showers

    Xevyr’s Heartstone Mod

    The Purge Mod

    Heritage

    Heritate True Hair Addon

    True (Hair) Colors

And map mods for my current playthrough:

  • Kerozards Paragon Leveling

    Emberlight

    Desolate Lands

    Endgame Extended Weapon Arsenal

One doesn’t need all of them, but I can recommend all of them.

There are no mods on Xbox. I want to get a PC just so I can use some mods. FC doesnt get that console users have limited content and that not putting out any new content or even some news is bad news. People check this forums in hopes of something, but FC is asleep at the wheel. They don’t even see these posts anymore. Facts

EEWA mainly provides something to do beyond the base game. Once you’ve been through the base game enough times that you’re tired of it then you might want to give it another look.

I like that the bosses require actual skill to beat. Taking thralls is a surefire way to get your thralls killed on most of said bosses. If you missed it the end boss is an avatar of Ymir.

On the minus side huge mods like EEWA and Age of Calamitous take a lot of time/grind and if the server shuts down, well, too bad. I’ve no clue how they’d do in single player. I also would not recommend having EEWA and AoC at the same time simply because they just get in each other’s way, so to speak. They can co-exist with a little tweaking, they’re just not a good mix imo.
