More specifically, the Giant-King Shades and the Champion of the Warmaker.
They all take 15 minutes to respawn, so you can spend time killing lesser things there too, but each Shade is worth ~100k exp and the final boss is ~200k, giving you close to a half-million every cycle.
If you are by Mounds of the Dead, a loop around the area killing all Wight’s will get you over a million XP in 15-20 min. You start off by the Barrow King and kill him as well, you also hit the two main huts that have Wight’s and the boss Wight in it. If you’re first in the area, there’s even more Wight’s that only spawn once daily! Good luck!
I just kill random mobs until they can take Frost Giants.
Someone recommended them to me, and they yield GREAT experience plus tons of food you can use for training.
But before Frost Giants it is Rocknoses! I had to check the original post:
So, I just go to the brimstone lake and kill Rocknoses until they stop leveling fast, then move to the Frost Giants until they hit 20 .
war party and take 2 at a time with the food of choice for what you want to level them towards. Go to the dreg obelisk and head to the Howling plateau to the east You want to kill 5 hyenas or so to get the first levels done slowly and the food bonuses to take hold. Once both are at level 3-4, head north to the unnamed city and start going the loop killing the undead and scorpions. Avoid the 3 skulls until level 15. If you are increasing vitality, you want to detour through the NW gate and collect and cook some savory meat from the deer around Rhinohorn Ridge and get back to it. You should level them PDQ.
Weapons one gets a 2h sword while the other a mace. 2HSword is crowd control while the mace is the targeted damage weapon of choice for thralls.
Just go unnamed city with the war party attribute , as soon as the thrall hits level 5 they can kill any boss there and since you have two it will be easier , should take around 30 min to level them to 20 .
Just as a follow up, if your thralls are low level, you probably don’t want them fighting bosses in my opinion, Wight’s give 18k XP each, and can be killed in 10 seconds or less
A Berserker requires 1.2mil XP just for 19-20, that alone makes the 30min estimate impossible! Sorry didn’t mean to argue, but I want to give the OP accurate info, and assuming you could level up a Berserker in 30min is just not even remotely possible. Unless I’m confused about something, which is always possible haha
Not to mention the 3 skulls just don’t provide the XP/minute like the mobs do. You do the 3 skulls to break up the monotony of mob killing and potential loot. If XP is your only focus, you avoid the 3 skulls because the time taken to drop them could have been used to gain significantly more XP off mobs.
If on siptah just do the demon spider vault with war party. 3-4 times will get you pretty close to lvl 20 thralls.
On exiled yes the skeletons are the best followed by apes.
Without reading again your topic, i can guarantee it was @Ragnaguard the one who suggested frost giants!
But as you see @Smoketreader there’s not a biome anymore that wont help your thralls level up fast. So make your choices based on your needs but avoiding some situations that can risk your thralls safety.
If you build however war party, focus zero in strength, only agility!
3 agility
2 vitality
2 grit
4 authority
1 expertise
This way you will be able to carry some s… t and you will do a decent amount of damage too.
Pve to pvp our swiftness is our greatest advantage, don’t risk your safety, or your thralls safety to be a bearer on dungeons, it doesn’t worth it. Focus on the special items each dungeon gives and for the rest build for one day full encumbrance, take your best thrall with you and farm the whole damn map for fun.
Have fun
Ps. Lvl up horses only by mounting them, don’t take them to difficult places, they stack on stones and corners and die easy.
I would definitely avoid Wine Cellar entirely with an untrained thrall. That place is one of the only areas in the Exiled Lands that can kill a fully trained and geared thrall. Taking an untrained one there is asking for trouble.
It’s tested many times with just one Berserker, zero points in authority and low gear.
Just avoid Thag
Ofcurce, stay alive your self. If you can’t, don’t go.
Ps. @Smoketreader is a veteran, i don’t think we said something that really helped! But it’s always joy to chat about gaming things than others that we cannot do a lot.
The Unnamed City imo is the best, just stick to killing the skelly’s (there is plenty of them) unless you want to farm the bosses for loot but this will slow you down a bit.
war party and gorillas, with trips to UC. be sure to watch their bonus buff to stats while leveling (the ##% in gray parentheses next to their stats), to ensure your best chance at leveling their stats too. Also, be sure you are feeding the stat food for the stat you want to level (you can find on the CE Wiki). Good gear is also essential.
