Bug Description:
Cannot place a foundation under an awning.
Bug Reproduction:
- Use build hammer and select foundation of any building type, T1, T2 or T3
- Place foundation
- Select awning of any building type, T1, T2 or T3
- Place awning on top of foundation
- Accidentally or purposely remove foundation
- Attempt to re-place foundation
- Awning prevents placement of foundation
I am not trying to be unfair or overly critical here… it’s just it does not make sense. It SHOULD be able to be placed and other building pieces suffer from the same problem, such as a doorframe, stairs and ramps.
And yet, I can do this?
I realize little building things like this have always been in the game in one shape or form. However, it stands to reason that if I can place something, in front, on top of, next to or inside of in a particular order, shouldn’t there be no order? Especially if stability is not a requirement. And in some cases, some of the functionality of placing in any order had previously been fine. If accidentally removing a piece and it requires you to take down an entire section just to allow the stability to be increased or a certain aesthetic, this can be entirely frustrating. Not to mention the act of building itself requires foreknowledge of certain steps…
