Knowledge unlockable weapons cannot be crafted in the blacksmith tab, only purchased or world unlocked weapons. iron, steel, hardened steel, starmetal… shortswords maces etc are not even showing in the menu.
Some higher tier items have to be crafted at an improved blacksmith bench. Sometimes the garrison/campaign benches won’t craft but improved can.
edit: also check your filters, maybe got a comma in the search bar or have the little sword icon turned off.
im using the garrison blacksmith. i only have about 10 item i can craft in the menu, the rest of the people on my server are having the same problem.

no, so your saying that the garrison and campaign benches may not be able to craft even iron short swords? i may have just never noticed before, we have a new person who came on trying to complete the journey step and craft an iron weapon and hes using one of our garrison benches. im making an improved now to see what happens. if so that is seriously stupid lol thanks for your help also.
That is correct, the garrison/campaign benches are unable to craft several low tier weapons, the basic blacksmith bench is unable to craft most high tier weapons but the improved bench can craft all weapons.
Makes no sense and requires players to not destroy their improved benches (I use it mostly for illusioned weapons). This also applies to armor benches too.

your right, made the impoved bench and it opened up about 100 more items. almost 400 hours in and i never noticed. i mainly just farm legendarys though. wow thats good to know thank you for your help.
