I found a named worker in Sepermeru, but ever since 3.0 I can’t knock out npc’s with blunt arrows anymore. The normal damage is higher than the concussion damage so I either kill the npc or it runs back and resets the white bar. Is there a way around this?
I’ve found they work if I am not charging the shot. A charged shot does a bunch more HP damage then concussive. But a light or instant shot does the same amount of concussive damage and less HP damage. I hope this helps

I use the bow you crafted on your self not much damage installed advanced weapons fitting will admit have not tried since 3.0

@Boreas use a hunting bow (lowest damage and easy to repair) you can add blunt fittings… as @shepherd404 said don’t charge the shots… I have no problem like that. The bows are acting weird (for me anyway) so make sure it’s blunted arrows you’re really using.

It also depends on keeping their aggro until you have knocked them out, before 3.0 they slowly refilled their knockout bar and you could continue if they lost aggro on you, but now it is completely reset the second they lose aggro.
So unless you keep them aggro’ed(being on ground with them) then using blunt arrows isn’t a good way to knockout T4 thralls

How high your authority because will increase your knockout.
Plus you need buff your bow with concussion tool that increase concussion on weapons.

It works even with lvl.2 fitting + 2nd perk in Authority + Savory Feast (+15% concussive damage). I’ve knocked out Accursed Berserker while my Bearer III was tanking him with a truncheon. Bearers have very poor melee damage multiplier so I think that almost all the concussive damage was mine.

You may aggro them with some tanky Thrall with a truncheon.

Use a concussive damage armour as well, with the hunters potion +50% concussion damage!

Also if you want to use blunted arrows to knock out thralls. Don’t put any points into agility

Plus the bonuses from agility add to the bow physical damage. You want authority, no agility, and the weakest bow.

Thing is, it’s easier to learn the new stuff on the forums than in the game because the game is kinda unhelpful when it comes to providing useful and accurate information.

Your right about that.
I like that though. The game really doesn’t hold your hand. I like to test, play and explore. And I love to help out too.
Just tested it guys. Use a low powered bow, blunted weapon fitting and have full auth and no agility and it knocks out names in about six (full drawn) shots 
I’ve never really used them before. But I will know 
I’m guessing most of you guys are on pc?
