Bombs and orbs need expiration timers

To give noobs a chance to build up on a PvP server, I’d like to suggest timers on bombs and orbs. This would limit massive stashes that can immediately be used to wipe noobs easily. Also, bombs should increase in weight so that it is a real chore to use them… let’s say 100 units of weight instead of 10. Right now players can max out encumberance and load up with tons of bombs and orbs and get into a base with little effort. Removing unlimited encumberance solves this to a degree. I’ve played Conan for a year and have seen plenty of players quit after 1 big raid. Off line raids especially. I know devs are leaning this direction because they’ve increased weights of orbs significantly. Also they made the yellow lotus potion expire after a minute so that players can’t easily retask their stats to have a fighter build and retask for an encumberance build. Brilliant devs! Now lets limit bombs by making them heavy and perhaps making tar, Dragon fire, and steel fire like food and have expiration timers.

They dont usually quit because of a raid. They usually quit because people foundation wipe and call it raiding.

You won’t be able to count on expiration timers doing much good after the next release, because preservation boxes are going to stop timers from ticking down at all as long as there’s any ice in them.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but the new potions for respeccing have no decay…

Tar or steelfire expiring? I could see dragonpower getting wet and thus expiring, but the other two?
I dont like that idea. Even one more reason to be grinding northeners instead of grinding iron ore and steelfire…

Now give those a lock function and 600.000 HP… :crazy_face:

I’m just offering suggestions to give new players and smaller clans the chance to survive. The cards are clearly stacked in favor of large clans. If the alpha is trying to wipe the server of everyone else, the devs can at least make some fundamental changes to at least prolong the conflict so noobs have a chance to level up and have fun. I think this 4x’s experience month is a test to see if players will stick around and not quit the game so fast. Pve is a different game altogether.
