Boss's regaining health during battle

When fighting a 1 skull or 3 skull boss, we notice that during battle, as their health is going down, it goes up to full health just as fast or faster. This has happened to us a few times. 1st time was with a 1 skull rocknose. I was fighting it along with my thrall and his health would go down and then shoot right back up to full health. Had to run away because we could not beat it. The second one was at Huanamans Grauto (sp?) as we engaged him we would get his health half way down, and then it would shoot back up to full health.


I am not sure how it can be re-produced other then engaging in 1 or 3 skull Boss’s

Am guessing this is an intended add. In the past you could range wipe out npcs/creatures. Now they will show damage and run towards your character, but if you are too far away and they stop and then return to their original spot, they will insta-recover hit points. A cunning (new) plan is necessary… :slight_smile:

Hi @Freyja1014, this is an intentional part of the leashing mechanic that was introduced to prevent players from infinitely kiting enemies.

If you believe you might have stumbled upon an issue with this please share further details regarding what actions lead to the event, such as how far the creature was from its original spawn point and if it was trying to engage a target that was out of reach.

When I was engaged with a 1 skull rocknose, it was hand to hand combat. When we engaged the other it was at a distance with starting with kiting it. So I understand that mechanic. Just not when I was fully engaged with it one on one.
