Building abandonment

I just learned about building abandonment. I play SIngleplayer with co-op on PS4, does the decay timer also effect the game?

When you are playing offline (co-op), abandonment is usually turned off.

You can confirm by looking in the server settings in the settings menu. If it is on and you want it off, make an admin on the main server setting screen and change it to your liking.
