I’m currently changing my base materials to the Turanian & stormglass style and have done 50% of it so far, but something pops up in my mind that i might of read somewhere (when i first joined) of a rule of not to use a certain build material?
I’ve re-read the procedures and rules and can’t see anything on it so I just want to tripple check and peace of mind. If anyone can reassure me would be great!
There are no restrictions on which building materials you can use (on official servers), but I’m thinking you might be remembering a thread about a ‘Nemedian bug.’ Rest assured that ‘bug’ won’t affect you. That issue was due to a change Funcom made to the Nemedian foundations (causing items placed on top of the foundations to disappear) but it only affected people that had items placed prior to that change. Newly placed items are unaffected, so build with piece of mind.
There was a rumor about black ice too, in some private servers black ice was forbidden 
. But no @Corrupted_Royal, if you play on official servers build with anything the game provides. There are building rules, but has nothing to do with materials.
