Game mode: Online private | Single-player Type of issue: Bug Server type: PvE Region: EU
Building pieces (specifically those with inner and outer faces) flipping backwards when placing.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
Select e.g a doorway in hotbar
Hover over the foundation piece you want to place it on, and make sure Outer Face text appears.
Left click to place, and see, momentarily, the Outer Face text display backwards.
You wouldn’t happen to have a free scrolling wheel mouse, would you?
I found myself nudging it when hitting the LMB and flipping the object. I now change to click mode vs. free scrolling while constructing, eliminating my mistake (Logitech).
Otherwise, I have never encountered that issue, online or solo, so I can’t offer more, sorry
Thanks for the suggestion Jim, I loaded the game to check that I wasn’t nudging the wheel, the problem persisted, so I went looking through the settings to see if I could remap the mouse wheel. Turns out the last big update somehow reassigned my keybindings, and for some weird reason the action button (left mb) was also rotate! Thanks for the help buddy, without your advice I’d not have noticed that at all!
