Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.buildings decay in less than 24 hours
Logged in in the morning at my bed and box.
Played and logged out some distance away from bed and box (placed on a foundation)
Came back to bed and box all of it had vanished.
Log report says all abandoned.
Make sure you build everything on connected foundations so you have One decay timer if you build separate buildings or bases each will have separate decay timer and you will have to visit each building or bases to reset the decay timer and always carry a repair hammer to check decay timer … never ever leave home without a repair hammer

Did you check the decay timer for those placeables with a repair hammer?
When dealing with low tier structures placed in small quantities, the decay timer can be less than 24 hours.
We’d recommend placing everything over several foundations that are connected to each other so that everything shares the same decay timer bonus, including altars and animal pens, and to check out the following video for further information:
