While there may be amazing artist out there for competing to get the prizes … but just know that the reward is just 10 dollar , for the battle pass.

I Find this kinda insulting. Like should be paid in more since you got this bazzaar crap and overprice stuff. And you saying congralation you won 10 dollar from a multi millionaire company. Oh and if you read the fine print … you don’t get to own your own artwork. For TEN DOLLAR keep that in mind. Honestly i expected alot more for these winners … because they deserve more recognize for the work and blood shed they put into your company , hell they arleady had to shell out 60 dollar for basic package to play this game.

This is what you could do funcom do 10 dollar battle-pass + 2 DLC keys for the winners, bringing that up to 30 dollar … and for grand prize winner to get special custom shirt, and a signed poster by the devs and everyone involved in a frame.

What im getting at , if you want to make a contest , you gotta make it epic and worth the while of people who will be contribute to it. You rarely hold contest as it is. Im sure you can afford to make it nicer for the participant.

I’m not putting much effort into mine. Not going to spend 70 hours on a competition for what’s on offer (plus surrender copyright claim). So just going to submit something quick and easy that I can whip up in an afternoon.

Well, there’s also the part that the art gets immortalized in the game…

Aside from that I’m with @Lucidique, it’s going to take me anywhere from 20-35 hrs to put out something worthwhile.

Additionally they’ve given us less than a month. I have serious life commitments including a full time job. No way I can squeeze a good piece out in less than a month.

This contest reminds me of the little art club in my region. Full of old ladies who like barns and flowers and think they can announce a juried art exhibition with 3 weeks of lead time because they’re all retired and financially secure.

It smacks of asking for free art. The payment is “exposure” and $10 :joy:

Alternatively, get a contract with Marvel to draw Conan, get exposure, get more than 10 dollars🤔

Not really, given a choice for which comic company to work for, I’d go Dark Horse. More freedom
