Seems I can’t remove items in my hotbar , the only solution here is I need to replace them with something else

Ya that works or go to a vault
Chest or wheel of pain and put it on an empty slot sometimes works for me
But I have same problem where I can’t unequal back into inventory bar on my character

Vaults , boxes , don’t seem to work either
When this happens, you need to click in your right stick and change the sort order to “Custom”, as it won’t let you select blank spaces to replace items when you are on “Name” sorting. Once you do that you should be able to unequip. The sort type is in the upper right hand corner of the inventory window.

That is the current solution to the problem, but it is really annoying that we need to go through that every time when removing an item with nothing. That has been an issue for a very long time.
