Now that those who crave more content have been placated and more changes have been made that really didn’t need to happen, perhaps Funcom, if it’s not too much trouble, would be kind enough to put some focus on bug fixing and performance improvements. Or is this as good as the game is going to get?
The screen shot was taken by a friend who still has the game installed. The review I was given didn’t divulge any more information that hasn’t already been said on the forums or in YouTube videos and I was told that problems that existed when I uninstalled the game are still present, so I won’t bother listing the issues here. Suffice it to say that I still have no incentive to reinstall the game. I don’t play games only to become annoyed by a myriad of bugs and performance issues that, for whatever reason, haven’t been dealt with 19 months after official release.
I definetly second this, I had been waiting to see what the update would bring and personally I’m disappointed (I never was excited about mounts as much as most around but I understand them). Perhaps it IS time to get some real work on performance issues which still go on. Please finish the game, polish the bugs out and make it stable?. That I woild really appreciate.
While I agree that its time to make “things work” the way they should, bugs like the one in the SS can be understood as not that game breaking since they are just visual, but yet it is not an excuse for such an aging game, to put on a priority list, I would like to see FC start to take some real action against glitch(er)s and hack(er)s.
