Cannot craft kiln after using the scroll

I got the kiln scroll from the vault chest. I used it, but the kiln feat didn’t appear in my feats and I can’t craft it.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Grind the vaults obsessively.
  2. Get the kiln scroll.
  3. Use the kiln scroll.

Expected outcome: See the kiln in the feat list.
Actual outcome: It’s not there, but it can be crafted.

It won’t appear in your feats until you get the scroll Library of Esoteric knowledge.
Even if you don’t see it in your feats, you can still craft the Kiln at the artisan table.

Just to confirm, have you checked the artisan bench? I know that the feats don’t show because you need the scroll for Library of Esoteric Artifacts for them to show, which makes little to no sense but you should be able to craft the items in the respective bench.

Library of Esoteric Artifacts is the actual section header, and no recipe can be shown without the header.
The scroll not only unlocked the section but also teaches you how to craft the metal skull.

Agree, evrrrything is craftable just without that library scoll u cant see it on list in feats, i have 3 of them also had kiln they all are makable just u cant see them where…

There is a scroll with this name in the admin panel though and once you learn that scroll, all your other previously learnt recipes show (tested without mods).

Thanks, everyone. I forgot to check the artisan bench. I’ll check that after work, when I can play :slight_smile:

I was really, really crestfallen, because the kiln recipe is one of the most important Esoteric Library recipes for me :smiley:

Tablet of power not? … in my list is like

  1. Tablet
  2. Bindings of death
  3. Kiln
  4. Essence of rot ( becuz i am Jebaaal saag )

I can confirm that the kiln appears in my artisan table recipe list. Thanks, everyone!

I’ll edit the bug so it’s clear that it’s just a UI problem.

Just to be clear, one of the random drops from the vaults is needed solely so that the other random drops will appear in their proper place in the UI!?

If this is a player’s first play through of Conan Exiles, how would they know they need to go to the artisan’s bench to craft the item?

For me the list would be

  1. Venom Infused Daggers
  2. Kiln
  3. Tablet of Power
  4. Any other venom infused weapons (they’ll look good on the wall even if I never get round to using them…)
  5. the rest (those scrolls generally end up in a box…)

Yeah, it’s still a bug, and should be fixed. It’s just not what I thought.
