Bug Description:
equipable items suddenly can no longer be equipped or moved
Bug Reproduction:
happens random. First charakter at level 13. I started new, then it happened at level 6. Happens to me and other players on the server.
I think you may be referring to the bug that happens when they altered the inventory, if you select the no sorting it generally resolves it this way, it can be random and is most annoying.
Thanks for your answer, but this problem is different. I changed the sorting to “no sorting”, which made things even worse. As soon as I touch an item now, it just disappeares out of the inventory, but the weight remains. I just dropped a stack of stones, but still have the same load on me.
Strange. I dropped the stones. They disappeared from the inventory. In the dropped bag in front of me I found a different item out of my inventory. In this case, it was a repair kit. When I pick that up again, it is back in my inventory, but the stones I dropped are still gone. But I still have the load of the stones on me which makes me overencumbered 
Yes I also have had this it is like an invisible inventory, if you make a chest and dump all into this you will then see the items in the chest.
I cannot remember if re-logging or pulling bracelet resolves this when it happens, this is why I always carry a bedroll with me due to the bugs as I can place this down then pull bracelet and spawn at bedroll to collect items.
Maybe someone like @Tephra or @Xevyr would be able to explain better what is happening as they have far more knowledge with regards to the games code and what exactly is happening, hopefully they can explain what is happening.
I just tried that. But that means that I would always have to have a construction hammer and/or a bedroll equipped. As soon as I face the problem, I can’t pull my bedroll into the quick access bar any more.
And right now I just tried to drop all of my equipment and pick it up again ……..
It just disappeared … despawned …. gone
Thought this is a good idea since I cannot build a chest without being able to equip the construction hammer …

… and out of thin air the construction hammer appears in the quick access bar. Even though I just dropped it and it despawned.
Another problem with the chest is, that when this problem occurs, I am not able to put items into the chest. They just flip back into my inventory or disappear. So maybe the bedroll option is the best. upon dropping everything I had the inventory seems be resetted.
… just said that and been proofed wrong. Same thing again, i can’t put items into the quick access bar.
I tried the bedroll option, but the inventory remains bugged. After respawn i looted my dead body. I could put exactly one item (sword) into the quick access bar, then it crashed again.
After years of playing Conan Exiles i feel like this is going to be the end….
The problem is what @cyc suggested above, keep your inventory on No Sorting, then remove your bracelet.
Do not leave you inventory on any other sorting modes… ever.. if you need to sort, sort and then switch back immediately to no sorting. This applies to crafting stations too.

I am so used to sorting my inventory that I just didn’t notice I did it again.
Now I unsorted it, pulled the bracelet, looted my body … and it works.
I now just need to remeber not to sort my inventory again.
Case closed!
Yes fun and games since the reworking of the inventory, it works like magic now, disappearing and reappearing mats,weapons, tools, food, one other thing is occasionally when you try to drop an item it drops everything but the item, I lost alot of hardened bricks this way before I relalised that this had happened and they had despawned.
Losing DP and a Shieldwright was my tragedy
The unfortunate thing that I have experienced is that even with using No Sort on everything it still sometimes causes all the problems that come with this “feature”. Definitely not as pronounced but still present on occasion.

Yes it is not an ideal upgrade and was definitely better prior to this.
